One easter egg that wasn't mentioned here and is admittedly hard to spot is that in the main menu, the logo has a 0.01% chance to be spelled "Minceraft". I've known this one for a while (and only remembered it because of your video!) and as far as I can tell, it lives on to this day, even with the relatively new, high resolution logo :)

Was it not a mystification from the old versions of the game? The last game version that I checked (I believe it was 1.10.2) had the logo texture split as "MINEC" and "RAFT", no "MINCE". Is there any definite proof that it is/was real? Screenshots and videos can be faked by replacing the original textures

@@bouncebit just swaps the e and the c on the fly. They don’t need to be grouped together in the texture file to do that.

I always loved the tower of pimps because it gave me a reason to collect gold also another menu splash text on the Xbox (maybe on other platforms idk) was something like “this can only be read on 720p or higher” and yeah the text was so small that you could only read it on higher resolutions

I guess this is less of an "Easter egg" and more of a scrapped feature, but if you use commands to give a Wither Skeleton a bow to replace its sword, it'll actually always shoot flaming arrows! I'm guessing this was the original planned implementation of the Wither Skeleton before they went with the ones we have today, and it was probably left in either as an Easter egg or by mistake.

I think the zombie villager texture being on the main zombie texture is a left over from when the zombie villager was simply a variant of the zombie.

There's a special rabbit variation which has to be added into Minecraft that has what looks like blood and will actively attack if you get too close. This of course is a reference to the Rabbit of Caerbanogg from the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. No word on if a holy hand grenade of Antioch can also be added in to take care of the creature properly.

I happen to know of an Easter egg in Minecraft that seemingly know one knows about, involving snow golems. (And no, it isn’t shearing them) there’s a small chance, not sure how small, but a chance that they can stick their arms out to the side as if they are surfing. Idk if it’s a reference to the incredibles or what, but if you don’t believe me, a snow golem can be seen doing it here: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4jWZYSqqpmHjLs at about 7:46. It’s the only video I could find that contains the Easter egg.
