please don't worry about the vaccination process and have some faith in your healthcare professional. if your pet dog remained alive for more than 10 days, then there is nothing to worry about. please don't assume the things like the stray dog jumped over you, the stray dog barked on you, the stray dog might have scratched you etc. Please avoid over thinking

Sir on aug 15, at night i was going and food was in my hand a dog came and tried to take the food its saliva was in my hand and i felt its teeth and nibbling and burning sensation i washed my hands with soap and water normally and applied savlon liquid antiseptic there was no scratch,wound,bite or blood (i didnt saw the dog after that day anymore the dog was not furious it tried to get the food) but after washing i felt itching and slight burning after that around 1 hour later i ate food with the same hand (at noon, the same day fish bone struct into my throat so my throat become sore,red and wound was there) the next day i went to head,neck specialist doctor as i was unable breath and swallow he prescribed me Prednisolone 20mg 2 tablets everyday along with other medicines on 25 aug i took my first dose of rabies vaccine(around 10days later of dog exposure) interdermally on both shoulder from a government hospital and i completed my vaccine on time and i was taking 40mg of prednisolone everyday for 8 days i last took on 24 aug and after searching on internet i found out it is corticosteroid so i didnt take it anymore through my vaccination period i was watching your videos and other videos on rabies and now i want to ask that as i took 40mg of prednisolone for 8 days will it have any impact on my vaccination ( i didnt take it while vaccination period) and i saw a slight scratch or wound on my hand after completing full vaccination the scratch or wound was recovered i didnt notice it back then though looked thoroughly when my hand was contacted with the dog please sir let me know about prednisolone affect and about the scratch or wound i am having anxiety after watching many videos about rabies (I am 21 years old) Please doctor answer me and let me know

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SIR HELP ME TO ANSWER THIS Sir, Right now i am in a big confusion and feel anxiety. In 2021 month of November got a major scratch with bleeding from a cat and i have completed 3 doses of vaccination and that cat is still healthy , On May 2023 it is another cat scratch me and I got fully vaccinated. But Again on September 2023 I got the scratch and I have taken 2 doses one tetnus and one ARV dose now this time on September 2024 I got a little needle pricking scratch with little bleeding from the same( unvaccinated )cat my doctor suggest to take 4 vaccine along with TT vaccine (0,3,7,28) i took one vaccine. My question is should i go with the next 3 vaccine because A year before the same cat scratch me and i already completed my vaccination. Suppose my cat don't have any rabies virus but already i have taken 10 doses in recent 2 years and 1 dose in this month What if they show any major health issues. Should i take the remaining 3 doses ? Or what if taking excessive vaccine lead to major health issues. Sir due to this i am suffering from anxiety and depression.PLEASE REPLY TO ME. these types of cases are very complex. Making decision sometimes become very tough . Two school of thoughts are there for such cases- first - ARV should not be given for next 90 days. second - ARV should be given irrespective of the time gap. WHO - in 2018 proposed 3months concept. Please reply!! 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 I got a category 3 dog bite on 8th April, 24 and doctors told me that I will be given a new vaccine called thrabis G protein vaccine which requires only 3 shots over a week to provide full immunity. This is the schedule of my vaccines - Day 0 : HRIG + tetnus + G protein vaccine Day 2 : surgery for dog bite Day 3 : doctors accidentally gave me a second dose of HRIG Day 7 : second dose of vaccine Day 10 : Third dose of vaccine After 4 months that is on 27th August, 2024 I got the rabies virus antibody test done and got a value of 0.93EU/mL. Is this value sufficient after 4 months? Q1) Am i still at risk of getting rabies disease from this dog bite that happened in April? Q2) Do I need a booster dose to maintain this value above 0.5EU/mL for the following months as 0.93 is very close to 0.5? Q3) should I go for one booster dose or all 3 doses of G protein vaccine again over the week?

I was stepped on the place after 7 hours where dog was laying. I mean before seven hours Municipal Corporation took dead dog with them. Later I stepped on same place where dead dog was laying (dog wasn't there). I feel Dog saliva has come in contact with my toe wound. I had already taken 15 ARVs last year due to dog bitten me on my ear. Last one I took 27th May 2024. I tested my Antibodies on 31st August 2024, and it is 3.95 EU/ML. Should I required to take ARV for this exposure?

1. no 2. these types of cases are very complex. Making decision sometimes become very tough . Two school of thoughts are there for such cases- first - ARV should not be given for next 90 days. second - ARV should be given irrespective of the time gap. WHO - in 2018 proposed 3months concept. Aur phir jab 2.5 months ke baad yaani ki ( 30 march) ko ye wala incident hua toh maine confusion ke chalte hue 1 dose aur le liya 3 day pe yaani ki 2 april ko.
