Yes I did see the pedestrian as you're approaching them but did you notice who it was. Had it happen to me last weekend, good person out picking up litter left on verge , but not wearing any high viz and hiding in dark by bush , dropped their rubbish and just stepped backwards into road to pick it up . Missed them by a couple of feet doing 40 mph country road 🤪🤪

😲 Road workers, refuse collectors etc. can appear from nowhere.
