This true account was sent in to me by a loyal viewer who stayed in this haunted hotel, with her parents in 1989.
As you will see by the end of this presentation - she and her parents were not the only ones to experience paranormal activity at this location.
If you're staying alone in a hotel at the moment....better to watch this some other time!

capture a few EVP’s in one of the rooms.

My dear friends, Here's my Christmas present to you all It will probably be demonetised eventually, (maggots are probably not advertiser friendly - lol) ...but I don't care. I didn't want to dilute my content just to fit their agenda. You may be wondering why I used images of 60s and 70s era hotel rooms - well I just find the styles from those eras way more interesting. Some viewers will know what's playing on the TVs there. :) Take care and stay safe my Oddites - wishing you all the best!

Thank you for this scary story. I believe hotels can be haunted. I remember back in my teen years, a group of us friends were staying at this hotel. This one room that was given to us, walked in and the first thing you noticed on the orange carpet in between the two beds was a great big red stain from there the stain continued like a drag mark to the door. Creeping us all out knowing it could be blood. We shut the lights off and went out to have dinner. Come back to the room, all the lights were on. Very uneasy feeling. So we got another room to stay in. Well, that's my experience there. I wish you a Merry Christmas Oddie.

As always a creepy; and therefore, awesome video! I think between the tone of voice, timing and the pictures, it all just adds to the creepiness! I do believe that's why I'm so addicted to ObsoleteOddity! I binge watch these videos so much I think I need to slow down, otherwise I'm going to catch up and have to wait for each new story lol! On a side note: the "psychic flashes" or visions: I've had them my whole life and just thought it was normal, until an event that happened when I was quite young. Even then it took many more years before I started realizing just how rare these are, I'm glad that was a large part of the events that took place in this story! Stay odd my friend!

Thanks for posting this here, Oddie! I had to let my Patreon account go due to poor finances. I've had two occasions where I encountered probably haunted hotel rooms. One time, I stayed at a hotel in Baltimore, MD. Beautiful hotel, nice view of the baseball park and street below. When it came to be bed time, I did not want to turn the lights off, because I felt something moving around in the room. I couldn't see it, but I knew it was tehre. Another time, we were staying in NJ, and I smelled something that smelled very much like a dead alcoholic. It was really unpleasant. Happy Holidays!

Wow, this was good. I used to visit this ladies house to help her out and one room in her house was cold and had a chilling odd smell. It was the only room in her house like that. I later found out her sound had killed his wife and unborn child and himself because he thought the wife was cheating. They were killed in that room long before I was born, I knew nothing about this until my grandma told me later. Happy holidays. 🎄

Me too and it really upsets me pretty bad. Especially when you finally find a channel like this one and want so badly to help. I lost my job a yr ago and now working at a very low wage with all my experience its embarassing and degrading. Being humble barely pays the bills and the lifestyle is non existent now. Getting over depression is another issue, but with channels like this, how I wish I could contribute.
@miriambucholtz9315

@@lookup5200 Stay strong. This didn't happen because you're a bad person or some sort of weakling. You have to be in survival mode right now, so don't worry about being embarrassed or degraded. Any honest, legal work is far preferable to having none. I've been in this situation myself and I've seen both my ex-husband and my father going through it. The belt-tightening is worth it in the long run. You'll be that much stronger for it. As for the depression, try to find someone or something that needs a lift. Try volunteering in an animal shelter if you like animals. You might even end up getting job leads if you volunteer somewhere.

We're here for a total of seven months until our home an hour away is built. Now I'm creeped out. P.S. I've stayed at at least two haunted hotels (Savanah, GA and Galveston, TX) and one B&B (Pasadena, CA) and have experienced the paranormal at two of these three places. I wouldn't say I'm a believer of the paranormal, but I can't explain my experience any other way.

True creepy story: A few years ago in my hometown there was a motel 6 which is very run down and mainly used for temporary housing from the state. The hotel is 1/4th of a mile from the expressway but nobody really stays there as far as travelers. A husband and wife from out of state were exhausted from driving and exited the e-way there but could only find one hotel, the motel 6. After checking in, they proceeded to their designated room. Upon entering they noticed a terrible smell and after a short amount of time they couldn't stand it anymore. They told the clerk who went up to investigate the smell. They discovered that underneath the mattress they had been laying on was a dead body... A woman was murdered & stuffed under the bed and nobody found her for weeks. I see this motel every time I go out to eat at any fast food restaurants because it was built behind them. Many people of power have tried motioning for its demolition including the sherriff but no luck yet. It remains open to this day but it has no sign anywhere to say what the building is.

Between 2007 and 2008, I was staying at a 4-star hotel with my family in Mississippi. I remember when my sister and I open the door to our room from a distance I saw a blurry image of a black cat with red eyes passing through underneath a table and chair, across the room by the windows - then it disappeared. That same night I heard someone whispering my name and saw a dark figure hovering near my bed. I thought I was going crazy. The next day I brought it up to my sister and dad. My dad told me he didn’t felt comfortable in the room too while my sister didn’t felt anything. All I knew was that we weren’t far from New Orleans.

We burned the mortgages on both home and business properties years ago, do not run credit card debt, anything put on card comes off at month end when statement comes before any interest accrues. No payments on the van, and no line of credit. We are both seniors , who worked since teens, and had our own business, still running for 40 years. We haven’t touched RRSPs yet, and still pay into them, but do receive the CPP we paid into all our working lives. I know the USA is a debt based economy, that wants everyone in debt, but you can find a way through that, you don’t HAVE to do what THEY want you to. 🖤🇨🇦

I've felt that stillness in a room before when I was visiting a family member and slept in their house. I fell asleep and woke up in the middle of the night to a very quiet and still room which was really strange because that person lived in the middle of a town right next to a busy road, so even at night there were cars. It lasted for about 20 mins, the worse thing was I felt like someone was sat there staring at me. Then out of nowhere noise just came back again. Like someone pressed the "un-mute" button. Or like whoever was staring at me just left. I'll never forget that!

for me that's how it happens snap shots. I think some of us are like lighthouses to the dead who are desperately seeking help. Its scary as hell the first time it happened to me I was about 8. Up until I was 5, I could see them like they were living and most kept there appearance not to scary some night I kept my eyes squeased tight my hands over them with my pillow and blankets over my head. As I got older the instances became pictures in my mind and then pain the pain of there deaths. All three of my daughter's were born with the same ability. I knew there boogie men was real because I could see and feel them there. I would ask our visitor to join me in the next room. And help them move on. Sometimes they just wanted to talk or confirme they were really dead. Strainge I know but very true. Yes my adult daughter's still see or hear them. Not sure what our purpose is but I help when I can..💜✌

If you can see them, they can see you. And isn't it strange how the gift of sight tends to go to the females in a family? My mother and my sister could see ghosts, and had experiences when no one else would. I also inherited the mediumistic tendency, but I'm physically intersexed, and as much a girl as a boy. It's all about intuition, and I believe women live more in the right side of their heads. If God is ever to be found and localized, it won't be in the sky, above the clouds, it will be in the right hemisphere of the brain, which contains the totality of all things.

I've had visits from my paternal Grandmother, my maternal Grandfather, and still, after 20 years, my loving Mother-in-Law, who is with me often (I feel her next to me, smell her perfume and she always cheers me up with her warmth). My Mother, however, had a terrible experience when I was a kid. I still remember it, even though I was about 6 years old. We had a marble statue (about 12 inches tall) which sat on the rug next to the wall of the archway between our enclosed porch & living room. One night, as we were watching tv, the statue just fell on its side and broke in half. It was very odd, so my Mother immediately went over to pick up the broken statue. When she knelt down and reached for it, my dog began growling and my Mom screamed for my Father shouting: "Albert! Albert! Help me! Something is holding my arm. There are two hands gripped on my forearm!!" She was rubbing her forearm with her opposite hand and she was so freaked out. I stood still, mouth open, worried about my Mom. Whatever it was let go and she calmed down. The next day she called our Parish Priest to come over and bless the house. Nothing like that ever happened again. One other weird story was my Mother's Mother, my Nana, who was the oldest of 5 children & was born in 1915. When Nana was 3 years old, she kept asking her mother (my Great Grandmother, I know...duh), "Mommy, who is that man?" My GG shrugged it off as kids have active imaginations. However, when my Nana wouldn't stop asking about this man, my GG asked her about him. Nana said "He's kneeling right there"... (pointing toward a wall in the living room of their house) ..."he's hitting the wall with his elbows." GG asked "His elbows?" Nana replied: "He has no hands and no head." My GG asked around their neighborhood and eventually found out that a man was murdered in their house, and his head & hands were chopped off. They moved quickly after hearing about it!! I can't imagine what you went through in that hotel room. That's something you definitely never forget. Love from Philly! ❤

I suggested Oddie do a video on the Elisa Lam story, and by extension the Cecil Hotel (which is re-opened now under the name Stay on Main). The hotel has a history unlike any other. That's the hotel Richard Ramirez, the Night Stalker, stayed in during his murder spree. It was also the sight of numerous suicides and homicides as well as, the most well known Elisa Lam case.

@@CJG1419 The circumstances around how she ended up in the water tower were still bizarre. For example, how did she remove the lid alone and then, even more bizarre, how did she close it behind herself once she was in. I'm not disagreeing with you at all, I'm just saying the whole situation was rather strange. Also, if I remember correctly, there was something weird with her toxicology results. I don't know if the weird aspect had to do with how long it took them to release results, or if everything was normal and she was shown to have been taking her meds as prescribed, or if it was something else, I just remember something weird there. Regardless, I definitely didn't intend to imply she was murdered, I just meant that her whole situation was unusual at best and I would love to hear Oddies take on it, that's all.

Have always had a love and interest for stories and accounts of the paranormal and hauntings. As an outcast when young, and being alone often, I read a lot, and stories of this sort we're my preference. Though I've never seen anything of the "hard core" nature, I have been in rooms of old houses, some deserted, some not, that would make a person uneasy and cold on a warm day, and remembered today. Not being an overly brave person, my interests have been confined to reading..But the investigator is there, though not entertained. Ha Ha!! Another good productions. Look forward to more.

I had a similar experience when my children were small at a Family Inn in West Virginia about 15 yrs ago. I had the feeling we were not alone and being watched. I stayed awake all night and left as soon as it was light. Upon check out I mentioned jokingly to the manager is that room haunted? Yes to my surprise he answered! A husband murdered his wife and two children in their sleep. Ten years ago, apparently only families of four can sometimes feel or see him. Lucky me! I was given my money back as long as I never pass out their address.

I'm glad he did so; most people working in hospitality today are not at liberty to be honest about such things, and although I do understand that there are reasons for this, I see it as an overall loss for human connection and something which makes life a little more dull and a tiny bit lonelier.

We once stayed in a hotel room in one of our many random travels when I was a child. I can't remember now which particular trip this was, or even what state we were in at the time, but my little sister complained the next morning that she had not gotten any sleep because the ghosts of soldiers kept coming up and talking to her the whole night. As we were leaving the next morning, we noticed a civil war museum next door. We still wonder if it was a coincidence, or if some of the ghosts attached to the artifacts got lonely and went looking for someone to talk to.

Some are not, children,if you get what I mean. Some will attach them selves to objects, a doll for instance, most of us ,when we see a certain doll,we will think ,eww, creepy doll,I will tell you, do not pick up the doll, Some of us,and you know who u are, have the ability to see,and or feel these things, for those who don't believe, well nothing I,or anyone else can say to convince you. I deal with spirits though hypnosis and remove them. I have had some hang around inside people, sometime they are sent by God to heal organs in people can be dead relatives. Children are often scared and hang to the mothers and siblings and objects, I have had all 3. There were 5 children attached to a woman's home, it was a toy from the 1800's. They wouldn't speak to me. I had to have loved ones come and get them. Then a dark spirit in my childhood home I always felt dark evil force from a crawl space in my bedroom. Turns out it was a Native American Navajo. He followed me and my sister from a past life to this home. We were all in the same tribe. If you listen to my Healing with Jeanette-Sister Dee you can hear me speak to them. Arch Angel Michael helps take him to the light. Connie's will mention another Indian who took up residence inside my thyroid and destroyed it. We all knew each other in a past life. My sister speaks Navajo under hypnosis but not during everyday life. You will probably enjoy the videos. 70% of the population has spirit attachments without knowing it.

Oddie Beau! I am not kidding... We were moved from an E suite hotel because apparently (although it was bogus) our tub was overflowing into the downstairs rooms... after complaining about paint smells ( no painting had occurred) then the overflow complaints, we demanded another suite. Well, they ended up moving us to a fabulous old Austin hotel. We landed in the penthouse suite at the 2nd hotel and everything was perfect. Later we heard from friends in Austin that the E suites were known to be problematic!

Wow! This is a great story! Of course one has to wonder where and why did those apparitions appear? What kind of activity was done especially in that room. I went online and looked up 'Mafia activity in Anaheim', and serial killers in Orange County, but to no avail. We had a similar story between my dad, my brother, and cousin when moving from California to Texas, all three picked up hitchhikers of a ghostly type. They didn't want to talk about it at first until one of them let the cat out of the bag then they all shared their chilling experience. Again, keep up the great work!
