Why don't these videos on sleep apnea give actual videos of people having sleep apnea??

They want to show you what is happening INSIDE the body ... inside the mouth, nose, throat, airway, etc. If you were viewing a real person (from the outside) -- instead of an illustration of a person's "insides" -- you would not see any of these important internal factors. If you want to see "externally" what a person with sleep apnea looks like, watch the above video at time mark 1:46 to 1:52.

Cheers for this, been searching for "what is the newest treatment for sleep apnea?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - letochy fast apnea plan - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a smashing one off guide for discovering how to get rid of sleep apnea without the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my partner got great results with it.

I resisted getting a CPAP machine due to pride/ego bs. Because I was only 33 when I needed it and I associated CPAP machines with old men. I’ve been using it EVERY night for 15 months now and it’s DRASTICALLY changed my life for the better. I used to jump out of bed in the middle of the night DESPERATELY trying to get air. My heart would race. I’d be pacing around the room breathing as if I’d just run a marathon. I eventually resorted to sleeping while sitting upright on the side of the bed because I just couldn’t breathe laying down. I took naps daily. I was EXHAUSTED. Headaches, sadness, and irritability were the norm. I took a sleep apnea test and was diagnosed with the most severe stage. My blood oxygen level went down to 68% when I was sleeping (that’s really bad) and I stopped breathing on average of once every 30 seconds while sleeping. Point being, if you need CPAP therapy and you have the ability to get it, GET IT!!

I was just diagnosed, 2 days ago. I’m in shock. I just turned 40 last month. I already gave the green light to my doc to get the CPAP. But yea, there’s that pride crap. I have exactly all those symptoms. And thyroid problems. Is there anything else that has helped? Something natural. Just asking cuz I gotta wait, idk how long for the machine

I had uvuloplasty 21 years ago. Worst decision I ever made. Doesn’t stop snoring, just changes it. Now mucus accumulates as I sleep at the opening of my airway and I wake up choking too many times. Wish I had NEVER EVER done it. It’s a constant battle trying to keep my throat cleared. Absolute misery for 21 years and I’m only in my 50’s so I have a long ways to go. Wish I’d never done it.😑

I would like to inform that I have been rehearsing for couple of months utilizing this snoring solution HootSleep.xyz and I had great results. Snoring ceased following the first two and a half months and I have not snored ever since! Neither the snoring or the dreaded sleep apnea have returned. .

The Surgical treatments are the most excruciating pain ever - way worse than childbirth - and is completely useless. Never would I suggest my worst enemy should try this. It’s been discontinued for some years now in some places due to its high failure rate.

I'll be seventy-two in August, if I live that long. I got my CPAP machine in May of 2021. I was diagnosed with Obstructive sleep apnea in January, of 2021. They told me I'll stop breathing as long as a minute and twelve seconds. I went from hoping I would not need a CPAP machine to hoping I'd get one in a hurry. I can't hold my breath a minute and twelve seconds. They said that's "moderately" bad. Well, if you stop breathing a minute and twelve seconds and that's moderately bad, what the hell is real bad? I'm a Navy veteran. It took so long for me to get my CPAP machine because there was such a back log in the V.A. system. I sleep with it every night. It doesn't bother me to wear that mask. What bothers me is the knowledge that I can stop breathing in my sleep, a minute and twelve seconds. Now on a serious note. Sleep apnea is dangerous and can kill. I lost a brother the first of this month. I know he had sleep apnea real bad; and he would not do anything about it. He did not think it was serious enough to do anything about it. And now he is seriously dead. He was in good health. He would have been seventy-three in July of this year. He ran three miles a day on his treadmill, every other day. He did not drink, or smoke, or do drugs. He was not over weight. He stayed with our father and me one night about twenty years ago. I can't tell you how many times he stopped breathing in his sleep. I had to constantly shake him and yell at him, "Mike, breathe! Breathe!" I thought he was going to die that night. I've been on to him for years to do something about it; and would just blow me off. He did not think it was all that serious and now he's seriously dead. I talked to the medical examiner last week where he lived. They said sleep apnea won't show up on an autopsy. It could be ninety days before we get the autopsy report. I'm still in shock. If you have sleep apnea and you are not doing anything about it, just remember this. It can kill you and probably killed my brother. So do something about it before it's too late.

You can get CPAP through your health insurance... Or you can buy a used one on Amazon or Craigslist...

Try out this snoring treatment t.co/YwY3S24R2i and you will see the great results it will offer you. I was surprised how after just 2 days of the program (performing just 4 exercises) snoring has ceased. Until I came to remember when I last snored. Occasionally I forgot to perform the physical exercise that`s why now I am looking for any ways not to miss any of it. .

Karthik K I have severe OSA. I’ve tried everything. Health was getting worse and worse. Finally found a few things that work to eliminate it for me completely. I now have 0 apnea’s and I put in a lot of time to figure this out. Hope it helps someone struggling out there. 1. Sleep on a slight incline (pillows, wedge or raise head of bed 6 inches), 2. critical to always sleep on side, 3. I use a boil and bite mandibular advancement device off of Amazon $50 (this is the best thing I’ve found to remedy my OSA) 4. No coffee/tea (my apnea’s have always been much worse if I do). The best thing I’ve found to normalize the horrible feeling from a Sleep Apnea Hangover (i call it) is Wim Hof Method guided breathing(KZbin or the WHM app) It takes 15 minutes and it completely re-oxygenates the body and brain to reverse the damage from oxygen deprivation through the night. Sometimes I’ll do 45 minutes and it’s fantastic. It brings back a healthy and calm state of being for the rest of the day. I was in such a fog and had a ton of anxiety from OSA for years until I tried it. Gave up on cpap after a year and a half last year and I’ve finally discovered these things that work for me. Hope it helps someone out there! Cheers!
