Hi, Can the gimbal still be disassembled into 2 pieces like the adventurer? As in - does the handle release off for packing?

Hey mate, not sure what you mean by balancing the maverick with pid gain? About the cable, the gimbal comes with a small micro USB cable that you connect from the pitch axis to the camera :)

Nice vid. Do you still have your AK2000? I caught a comparo vid of the AK2000 and DJI Ronin S by Travis Fultz where he compared the Tracking functions of both gimbals. While the Ronin S was the clear winner back then, I noticed that the AK2000 has received firmware updates that improved this function so I was curious how it performs now. Unfortunately, Travis already sold his AK2000 so I thought that maybe you could give it a test, considering that's 1 function of the gimbal you haven't tested yet. BTW L&S.

@@theTechNotice But can you test the tracking function and tell us viewers how good or crappy it is? The performance before the update lost track of the subject quite easily but seeing it improved might make it a more compelling purchase for a one-man vlogger on a budget.

@@MrPhilbautista I have the AK2000 and the performance issues aren't solved. I would 100% go for any gimbal but AK2000 due to bad performance. I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner either, because a beginner might think he's doing something wrong, whereas there is clearly something wrong with the gimbal. the wobbly ticks of AK2000 are annoying and ruin the footage.

having both i will say maveric have way better movevent . is smoother by a lot. also currys larger payload BUT ak2000 have better build , its safe, and more reliable. my MAVERICK got split in two during a filming CAUSE THAT handle is dangerous and weak. AK2000 can be balanced easily and very quick. , Joystick on the maverick is one of the best on any gimbal and on the ak2000 is extremely quick and that is not good.

thanks for the comment and adding your experience! Although I've found the opposite that the ak2000 is very unreliable and making random moves that I can't rely on....

@@theTechNotice you are very welcome. By saying unreliable I mean following my experience with it that the Maverick is dangerous.. that handle is seriously weak. Will upload the video showing me using the Maverick. The handle broke and camera-lens fallen to the ground front of the bride while filming her wedding.

Moza aircross 2 is a better gimbal than both of the above. Try that if have the opportunity
