You are a master at this, CrappyCaptureDevice ! I didn't expect the medley to be that deeply worked on, so thanks to you I -and so many others- can fully enjoy the medley. I greatly support you!

The second half of the Lon Lon Ranch theme actually does appear, contrary to what is said here. It appears before the first half though, which is a little confusing.

i should mention that the Sun's Song part of the arrangement may, in fact, reference the Hyrule Field theme in OoT as well, since it also begins with the Sun's Song.

I like the more detail version of the video. It provides great background info and it nice to see some things I've missed hearing/seeing in the game.

I like the flamenco guitar mixed into the medley also. It gives the feel of Dragon Roost Island from Wind Waker.

Aren't the background songs from the lost woods and the ranch called Saria's Song and Epona's Song respectively?
@Cubelarooso13 жыл бұрын
Wow, I'd never considered how much you put into the actual composition of your videos. My respect and admiration for you just doubled! A standalone detailed version would obviously be better than a standalone, abbreviated version (since I can just click back and forth), but the combination is better than the sum of its parts (since I don't have to click back and forth).

i always thought of lost woods as the theme of zelda before i became a huge fan of it, but now i still like it the best. The first zelda game i played was ocarina of time and i accidentally went into the lost woods right after the deku tree. It was a while before i finally figured out the actual way to go(over the bridge to hyrule field)

I never noticed those warp songs in the background, or the boss one! That's so cool that they did that, and you're awesome for discovering it and sharing it ^0^
@doctorlit13 жыл бұрын
The detailed version was definitely more interesting. We could look up the songs themselves on KZbin easily; it's seeing the history of the games (especially ones I've never played, like this one), and understanding the context of where they came from, that makes your videos so fun.

You didn't mention what 22:49 - 22:55 is. And you forgot to point out one of the best parts in it, derived from my favorite song in Ocarina of Time. The guitar playing throughout the Arrangement is similar to the guitar playing in the Gerudo Valley song.

Fantastic video. I think the detailed history is great; even though I already knew most of what was explained, I still enjoyed it. Before this video, pretty much everything between Zelda's Lullaby and the Song of Storms in the medley went over my head. Also, I can't believe I've only just found out that Zelda's Lullaby originated in Link to the Past. I feel ashamed to call myself a Zelda fan now :(

@CrappyCaptureDevice I actually enjoyed more the detailed version. It gives you all the information you need to know, and shows you things that when you are playing you don't pay attention to them. Also, all your other videos are like the detailed version, so I think you shoul keep the tradition. Really nice video by the way.

This is a tough one actually. Don't get me wrong, while i definitely enjoy more details, it seems like for the most part these music track videos are fairly obvious, especially with really big name games such as Zelda. So i think in this particular case the shorter one is better. Plus, it saves you time, and you can move onto videos where you can include more detail. Such as character moves, and perhaps some of the more obscure music tracks.

I honestly prefer detailed. It provides much needed information behind where the songs are used in their original games. I find information to take priority over time. If I do not have enough time, I would simply just watch at a different time.

For the Lon Lon Ranch part you stated that the second part doesn't play, but I believe for some reason the second part is played first and then it goes into the first part, the second part at 12:06 and the first part at 12:18

Oh man, even before Song of storms plays there's another 5 melodies crammed on this piece. It's so wonderful! No wonder it's the best piece of TLOZ music in Smash! Until Ultimate's Termina Field showed up, that is...

You don't know the difference between the first and second parts of the Lon Lon Ranch song. Epona's Song consists of the main part of the first part of the Lon Lon Ranch song. The second part is the part heard before "Epona's Song" in the Ocarina of Time Arrangement.

Wheter you do detail or not depends on the track, to be honest. If it's something pretty simple, like Luigi's Circut, just play the original then the Brawl version. Any smart person can see the similarities that way. If the song is complictaed like this, do a detailed version.
@NASCARFAN16013 жыл бұрын
