8:30AM Tuesday November, 2004 It's a rainy day... Sick and away from school... Grandma making me soup to feel better... Mom complained that I was playing videogames too early in the morning... But what she didn't know, was that I would play a masterpiece of a game that etched itself into my entire life and help make my memories of happy, better days of youth and friendship timeless, just like the very game itself. Thank you for letting me remember those moments of stillness in life, never worrying about the things going on with the world.

Same feelings. After all the chaos in my life through adoption and getting used to a new family, this game was there before all of that. It was another world. An absolute blissful journey that I could escape reality with.

My step father loved zelda. he was an old hippie mushroom guy. he died when i was seventeen. i only got 6 years with him and he was my first and only father figure I experienced in life. i hear this song and remember him. i sadly think im slowly forgetting him but this song keeps him alive.

When I was in high school, I was bullied, struggled with studying, homework, exams, isolation, loneliness, depression and $μ¡c¡đ@ł thoughts. There was nothing like coming back home after a long and grulling day, pluging this game in, switching the console on, hear this beautiful theme, the chimes after pressing the A or Start button and for just an hour or two forget about my problems and struggles and enjoy this marvelous piece of art, this masterpiece that cemented its self as one of the best in video game history. My dream now is to become a video game composer and collaborate with other musicians, so that others might somehow be encouraged and uplifted with my music through this medium.

I was in foster care at the age of 10 when this masterpiece found me. I was 9 when it all happened, CPS came and took me from my family. Arrested and deported my mother. I had no father, and being in a group home with total strangers really scared me at first. There was this older kid in his teens that I lived with, Greg. He was one of few that accepted me as a friend and later a brother. He had a N64 and when I saw him boot up it the first thing I heard was this song. Been hooked to this series ever since 😂😂. And man did it do wonders for me as far having somewhat of a childhood.

I know that this may sound stupid but not long ago I was put into a mental hospital they had an computer lab every time I would go I would listen to this I felt like all my problems would go away this game is such a big part of my life I will never forget how I felt when this would play thank you so much you don’t know how much this helped ❤

Im young like early teens, but i still remember playing this game on the n64, and on the 3ds, everything was so simple back then. i miss it. This was the first zelda game i played, and it's also my favorite. Any device i have that can run/emulate this game has it, and i want to go back to simpler times and so i just play this game, and when this song plays, everything finally feels peaceful and simple as it was when i was younger i miss those old times and i hope noone forgets this game

Ah yes, the good old days, the old times. Dont worry, they were never all that perfect either, nor is now for the most part much worse. This game was my comfort when I was a teen I was going through a lot at the time I had undiagnosed PTSD and Depression I was in a Special Education class because of My autism which caused me to go through severe depression because the staff mistreated me and abused me leading me to SH this game was my first ever Legend of Zelda game and it was my comfort when I got home I'd turn on my 3ds and played it my favorite thing to do was ride Epona around Hyrule.
