This is a great perspective to provide. Often times I think I hype myself up too much with unrealistic expectations. It doesn’t mean recovery isn’t possible, it means that failures and setbacks are apart of the journey along the way. Much like any form of success. Just easier said than done. Often finding myself saying “I never thought it could get this bad again”. Unhelpful thinking. This is possibly the best video I’ve seen in so long. Wish you guys had a much bigger audience, this is so important for every person with OCD.

We’re getting there! Our channel is fairly new compared to most OCD channels!

Hey Charlee! I really appreciate the feedback! Are there any other topics you’d personally like to see?

@@aguywhohikes1271 Of course! I’d love to see you guys talk about dealing with OCD when there are real life problems that exist too! Sort of like obsessions & compulsions attached to real current things, and if the approach is still the same. I don’t know if you’ve done a video on that already though 😅😊.

@@aguywhohikes1271 I also love the current content right now! just on how to approach recovery realistically and the fact that relapses & fear of fear kind of go hand in hand. It’s great 👍🏼

Hey guys! My mental compulsions feel really very automatic and it makes me feel kinda hopeless that I'll never be able to break them down, Please help

Hey buddy! Getting comfortable this for now is key as many mental compulsions usually fire until the core fear comes down.

Very useful info... after I had 4 great days, I had a day of being stuck again. Not necessarily despairing, but just feeling disappointed. Thank you for some perspective.
