There used to be a place in Wildwood on the boardwalk that served a frozen rectangle of Strawberry, vanilla and chocolate ice cream served between two fresh waffles. Good memories!

I’ve always gone to Ocean City, MD. There we would do Doll’s salt water taffy, Kohr’s frozen custard (it’s not really ice cream), French fries with malt vinegar, and fudge. I’m from PA and those pretzels were the closest I’ve seen to Smitty’s pretzels since I was a kid!!! I guess I’ll be going to Ocean City, NJ in the future!

So fun! Just a heads up OCNJ is a bit different from OCMD, since it’s a dry town so no crazy party scene, more family focused but the foods still amazing!!

I didn’t know that about OCNJ; definitely a plus! I was there after graduating from high school a million years ago but my friend was sick and we never left the hotel!!!! Maybe it’s the pre summer season but it looked much less crowded than OCMD; another plus!

Been Coming to Ocean City NJ since I was 8 years old. Now 39 and my wife & I go there every year. We always park our car at the lot on 9th street and we always set up our umbrella by the pier. Close enough to walk over to Manco & Manco pizza place. My name is Tim and I’m from Burlington County NJ. My favorite entrance is the causeway from Somers Point to the Island. Thanks for this video I hope you see this comment. Ocean City NJ forever. My grand kids will be coming here lol. Best boardwalk in the state in my opinion. My wife loves the fudge place too.

@@1981fuentes I just looked at the Google Earth street and it looks like you may park at the large parking lot on 5th street just before the boardwalk. It’s a large sign that says Municipal Parking and no overnight parking though. Gillians Wonderland pier is right there.😊

Oh my goodness, BIG G added the exact top 2 I was going to add...BROWN'S DOUGHNUTS and VOLTACO'S. To that list, I would add: *WARDS BAKERY-Butter Cookies *BAREFOOT MARKET (formerly 4th St. Cafe NOT Positively 4th St Cafe). They have the BEST SCONES EVER!! Best Chicken Salad, Best GIANT COOKIES!! They have been in OCNJ for 30 years, so they are a "tradition". By the way, KOHR'S does NOT sell "Ice Cream", it is "FROZEN CUSTARD". I know that because I was personally corrected by one of the Kohrs. Their grandfather or great grandfather developed the special recipe many years ago. So happy I found your channel and am now a new subscriber!! God bless you!! Had to come back and add CURLY FRIES!!

If ya want to go to the boardwalk, then park less than 5th street or higher than 14th for free parking. Otherwise between 5#> and 14th are paid meters or parking lots

Gertrude Hawk peanut butter melt-away chocolate bar 5. Soft Pretzels at any Philadelphia sports venue Oh.... I found a Corona has the great refreshing taste anywhere in the world!!!! We spent Memorial Day kayak surfing on the Hudson River in Beacon, NY (near West Point). The commercial and recreation boat wakes make for some fun sets. Beacon, Cold Spring and West Point are bucket list worthy... real old time traditional American look and feel! Later.....
