Worthwhile video. My ocean drum was made by Remo, as I recall, about 25 years ago, and it's still going strong.

Thanks Dave, this was a great lesson. I've been wanting an ocean drum, and made me want one even more. I'll be sure to pass this around to all of my groups. Take care of you and yours, stay safe, healthy and happy!

I still say Dave should've pursued a career in radio. It's not too late to do so. 😉

I have an ocean drum I should be using more. I saw this come up just before leaving for work. I will have to check this out more tomorrow when I have time. I use middle eastern drumstrokes myself. I'm curious to see what is used in this video.

Very interesting instruments...which I've never run across. Your demonstration was very motivating and I appreciate how you presented the sound patterns you demonstrated. Thanks.

I really loved your video! Thank you so much for sharing it❤ I recently got a 16” ocean drum and have tried following your video. I am having trouble with the chick sound because I can’t seem to keep the drum In place without falling therefore I can’t seem to keep the rhythm any advice
