Rusty's constant eating was a creative decision by Brad Pitt. He felt that with as busy as Rusty would be getting the heist perfect he wouldn't have time to actually sit down, eat and would be eating on the go. Also, Ocean's Twelve is absolutely brilliant, but different. To me it's criminally underrated.

Ocean's Eleven is a remake of the original 1960 Ocean's Eleven, starring The Rat Pack: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop. I love love love love love these movies! The Ocean's movies are one of my favorite trilogies ever, just watched them again recently for the millionth time. They never get old and I laugh the same amount every time. One thing that I personally really appreciate about these is the writing. It's excellent (a favorite from this first one is the dialogue in the scene in the hotel restaurant between Danny and Tess - it's fantastically written). It also is written in a way that makes it feel like an older film. It's quick, witty, dry, sincere, and clever - it's the kind of writing I don't really see anymore and it's great, I LOVE the way older films are written (ones from the earlier days of cinema - 40s, 50s, 60s) so the fact that they bring some of that into these is so much fun and refreshing. It's also a great callback to the fact that the original rat pack film that is from that golden age of movies. I also think these are directed really well too. There are so many creative shot choices I love and the way they're made, visually, the style feels reminiscent of the classics. I think the combo of the writing and directing is what contributes to them feeling timeless and they never get old.

Nobody thought that this "Rat Pack" classic would be revamped into a franchise. I saw the 1960's original before the remake came out. Also it re-established the 'Heist Comedy' that the original had first introduced. Great cast. One of the best ensembles ever. They all had such a good time working together. Going by the 'behind the scenes' footage and interviews. The most recent installment was the spinoff, Ocean's 8 (2018) and it was unexpectedly good. But definitely work your way through Ocean's 12 & 13. RIP to the legends, Bernie Mac (Frank Catton), Carl Reiner (Saul Bloom) and Jerry Weintraub (main producer of the Ocean's Trilogy, 2001-2007).

10/10 One of my all-time favorites There is just something about this movie that makes it so great. There's nothing truly outstanding about any one aspect of the movie; nothing that will blow you away. However, everything is put together perfectly. Personally, I have a theory that any movie that absolutely blows you away the first time you see it, will lose its entertainment value very quickly. Not necessarily because the movie was not good, but because it just seems to get old too fast. This is NOT one of those movies. This is the kind of movie that will be enjoyed countless times. The dialogue is slick, and always to the point. There are few (if any) overdone scenes and/or lines that tend to become annoying over time. This movie flows exceptionally well. Personally, I couldn't quite figure out why until I watched the "behind the scenes" footage on the DVD. I didn't really notice all of the work they put into using as few shots as possible. The extra features on the DVD really explain it all. Almost every scene uses considerably less shots than you would think it takes to convey all of the activity going on. The music punctuates the flow of the movie and the shots extremely well. The cast is almost all big names. It's great to see actors like Pitt and Clooney and Damon come together in a movie and interact so well, without having to be the pretty boys or bad-ass heroes of the movie.

The Mormon twins crack me up, bieng mormon myself and from where they are from , the scnene where they are on the drag strip racing the truck agaisnt RC car , that was an olllllld raceway in Sringville Uth from the 1930’s used all the way into the 90’s, when I was a toddler my parents used to take us there to watch the oval track races. I mentioned this to my mom remnebering and she was shocked saying I was only 2 years old and I remember so vividly. It was after seeing this movie in theaters I had the memory , like the movie opened a vault of a night we weee there when my mom held me as the sun set and faded to night hearing cars racing as I fell asleep in her arms. She passed away of brain cancer recently and I’m so greatful to have seen this movie to remember such a beautiful memory of my amazing mom. Now everyone I see it I have a flood of emotion at the track scnene . They tore it down a few years after thd filming of this, no one went anymore after the 80’s . Sad that it’s jsut an empty overgrown field where one of my first memoiries I remember occurred and how time goes on, the places we went close and change and the people and loved ones we were with pass away but we carry those memories so vividly through our lives. As a single dad now of 3 amazing daughters , and having such beautiful memories of my childhood and parents and loved ones , it makes me want to be the best dad I can be, realizing my girls will one day be remembering our memories of now when I’ve passed on and thinking my mom was invincible and would live to 100 so healthy , but passing out at 60 recently and finding out she had a brain tumor /cancer and passing days later I had the heart break of my life realizing she was gone and all I wished I’d of said to her thinking I had all the time in the world , I can’t now , it’s also made me into a better dad that wants to share all the love I have and tell my daughters all I can to help them feel loved so when I’m gone they have beautiful memories as I do. My mom passing so suddenly and tragically and living the best life she could , healthiest life possible , showed me anyone can pass at any time even living so healthily , so do all you can love your loved ones with all your heart today because you may not be here tommrow , next month or year. ❤️ TBR Schmidt family, I know you are new parents and adore your baby , continue that give that baby all your love so one day when you’re gone, they can be sitting in bed as I am and feel the love I feel in that memory. What we do every moment with our babies , they take in, and those memories can be unlocked any time by random things.

Nicely done, folks. Elsewhere on this it has been recommended that you take in a viewing of *The Sting* (which turned 50 this past year) and which I enthusiastically second as it is easily one of the snappiest films about the light-fingered set that ever has been made (and got a Best Picture Oscar to prove it). Howsomever, I must also put in my two cents for 1968's *The Thomas Crown Affair* with slick hunk Steve McQueen and drop-dead-gorgeous Faye Dunaway in the first flush of her stardom. This is one of those late-60's movies with extended flashy split-screen sequences and, as a bonus, perhaps the sexiest game of chess on celluloid. I really should have done this after you screened *Midnight Run,* but I now present you the best of holidays gifts - my subscription. You have both been excellent viewing companions for nearly three years and I'm very glad you've elected to pursue this line of work. Keep going - and Happy Cinema! 😄

Watched your channel a few years back really enjoyed it but for some reason I stopped watching reaction videos but now I’m back and all subscribed up…really liked your reaction to the great escape and thought it would be good to react to classic movies the original version of this film is epic

You guys may want to search out the original. Its a 1950s movie. (Belive of the same name) Watched it as a kid. I liked that time frames take on this. This version has more style but the original has its charms.Have a good one.

Fun fact, Saul is watching the original "Oceans 11" movie when we learn that Danny was burned by the Casino. "Turn it off Saul!"

Great reaction, check out the original as well. My favorite exchange in this film is: (Danny) Does he make you laugh? (Tess) He doesn't make me cry.

This was a real fight in Las Vegas. Klitschko/Lewis actually happened, and those were all the legit trainers and broadcasters pictured.

No it wasn't, those two never fought. Lewis actually fought the other Klitschko brother later.

Yea there is also an Ocean’s 13, which arguably is one of the better ones in the trilogy. Hope you watch and enjoy them all!

Casey Affleck played Chastain's brother in Interstellar. Anyway, his leading role in Manchester by the Sea is amazing (wonderful movie). Won Academy for that
