Three Seals Rescued From Entanglement

The rescuers are once again looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack: thousands of seals right in front of them, and they need to find the one that is entangled in an often thin or transparent piece of plastic. They only get one chance, once the seals are in the water, they can no longer access any of the animals and they have to wait until they are back on the beach. They also do not want to disturb them unnecessarily, some of them would have just come out of the water and they need to rest. It is a successful rescue run - they can remove an old hat, a piece of plastic and a few loops of fishing line from three different seals! 🦭

@@deborahrunnells8222 OCN has stated that they are particular about who they select to help them in catching seals on the beach. Hundreds if not thousands of people have asked OCN if they can become part of the team, but the more people there are involved on the team, the more messy and confusing that the operation can get. The team all need to work together and be on the same page if they are to help the seals safely and avoid danger themselves. The kind of help that OCN wants is support, both of the financial kind and with comments. I am inspired by your dedication. I have become a bird animal husband. I live in SF and wildlife is now starving. Tons of cabbage had to be dumped into Florida oceans to feed the Manatees who lost their natural food source by 90%

10,000 seals!!!! Seal Whisperers, you are brave all over the place! Running through them to catch a target must be an incredible anxiety rush! My heart always flutters like crazy, hoping y'all don't get bitten or fall in front of them! It's pretty easy to tell that most of these seals haven't encountered humans before. Yes they have the trigger to run away from unnaturally tall animals, but shortly after, they aren't exactly terrified. That mama didn't run from you and just stayed with her babies!
