The OceanREEF Neptune Space G. Diver Integrated Diving Mask is a comfortable recreational full face mask that combines your primary second stage with an integrated mask. The benefits of using full face masks include protection against cold water and the option of underwater communications.
Comprehensive Double S Skirt seals gently against your face to keep your face completely dry during your dive. The Double S Skirt bellows creating a spring Premium grade silicone rubber creates a wide 30-45mm seal all around the face to keep air in and water out. Keeping your face dry during a dive is especially useful in cold water to insulate your face.
Never Fogging Up because the whole mask is continually being exposed to fresh air from your cylinder. You can forget about complex mask clearing techniques as any water that enters your mask collects at the bottom an is expelled after every breath. The second stage is built into the mask so there are no mouthpieces that you have to bite down on so you can talk and breath through your nose if you prefer.
Six Point Strap provides a comprehensive hold on your head with quick release toggles at the bottom. Your mask will not be dislodged easily by your buddy's fin because of the springy skirt and six-point strap. This system distributes the pressure evenly over the seal for a firm position while still allowing the mask to float over your face.
Dual Side Ports allow for customization by adding accessories such as Surface Air Valves and Underwater Communications.

We’ve been using one of these for 4 years now, definitely worth getting a flexi hose, and if you wear glasses 🤓 you can buy them for the mask and they just slot in. Highly recommend

Gaboom 7137 you do not use a snorkel with a full face mask with an attached 2nd stage regulator. This is for SCUBA diving not snorkeling

After surgery on my sinuses I cannot wear a regular mask anymore as the little water that comes in around the nose runs right into my nose and to the back of my throat. I will definitively be trying one of these. The price is a bit much but it´s not just a mask but a regulator too, so I guess it ain´t that bad. Thanks for the review!

As everyone probably knows by now, they were guided out on stretchers with FFM's, which demonstrates one of the safety features. A drugged (as they were), sleeping or unconscious person can survive such a trip.

Probably not. There are definitely down sides to an FFM, especially in handling emergencies. They have lots of upsides, but I don't see them being standard

Full face masks pre-date scuba as a hobby, and still haven't replaced half masks. Doubt that will ever change.

Hello, someone on Amazon stated that you have to have an ocean reef first stage for this mask to work because it supposedly runs on a different pressure but the guys at my local dive shop disagree, however they haven't used this particular mask so it's just speculation. Does anyone have a solid answer for me?

I've spent a great deal of time in an OTS guardian as a public safet diver in the past, my answer to this: Depends. What is your skill set like? I would definitely try one out before you commit.

@@chvishal what do you want me to say? They're valid questions, and a recommendation to try one. I could be brutal, but what's the point? It's better to ask a diver to self assess on a piece of equipment like this than t ok start listing a set of "facts", that can vary anyway. Have anything valuable to add? Or just criticize someone offering input for free.

Hi, so my answer to this question would be dependant on how far you have progressed with your chosen training. For now I will assume you are a PADI certified ocean diver with 25 logged dives. So based on that I would say you are all good to get one now. Although I don't myself have a ffm I have Just ordered the one in the video and I am currently doing rescue diving training with PADI. with only 40 logged dives myself. There is no real rule book on when you are ready. But with 25 dives you clearly know the basics and have done all your underwater emergency drills. The ffm course lasts less than 4 hours and is practically the same as you have done before only this time when removing the ffm for an emergency, you are required to have a back up mask and switch over to that! Not a issue if you have the prior training. Buy away sir! You can not take the money with you ✌✌

I just bought this went through some training and feel comfortable but realized at no point was it covered what would happen if you vomit while wearing the ffm. With a standard regulator you vomit through it. In this I imagine you may have to take it off??? Anyone have videos or training material on this?

Bill Wang You would just use the quick release to take the mask off. Then use your buddies extra regulator. :)

Why in the hell would anybody run out of air? Pay attention to your gauges or J valve and that's never an issue! If it is stay outta the water or stick to simply snorkeling.....my opinion!

Do you need any certificates to dive with this mask?

I've been an FFM diver for about 2 years, and I own this mask. The answer is that it's not required, but it's highly recommended. There are no scuba police who will arrest you for not having the FFM cert while diving with one, but the class teaches you how to deal with emergencies which become a bit more complicated when wearing a full face mask.

@@JohnJones-iq7uj just ordered one of these. I'm currently doing my PADI rescue diver course and am in the process of booking my ffm course. What's your opinion of the ffm and the traditional reg/mask combo? My instructor says that they are pointless and he would never use one? But for me looking at all the pros! Anti fog regulated breathing Better visbility Communication Warmer face Able to breathe through nose. I honestly can't seem to find any negatives other than MAYBE equalizing issues? And the fact you need to remove the whole unit if there is a problem with your air! But were already fully equipped to be without both mask and reg for a short period anyway! Can you give me your thoughts? Many thanks

@Dive & Detect I dove a regulator for 22 years and bought a Neptune II (the precursor to the space G) in 2004.... I will NEVER go back to a standard bite regulator/mask again. This is so much more comfortable, NEVER floods or fogs (yes you can EASILY still ditch and don or go to an octopus, no CO2 buildup and NO DRY THROAT OR SORE MOUTH. Great angle of view, and no mustache problems. Your instructor has never tried one if he has made comments such as that and just shows ignorance.

Hgaming yes, it is an integrated SCUBA regulator and face mask. You need to be SCUBA certified and you need regular dive gear including a compressed air tank (it’s air, not pure oxygen).

To me, definitely yes. I’ve been diving since 1980, and diving this mask and it’s precursor mask since 2004 and although I still have standard masks and 2nd stages, I never use them. This is so much nicer to dive
