I have used two v9 wheels. A few years ago my friend bought one new and it left a bit to be desired. I have recently bought one myself, and think they have upped the quality quite a bit. The off-steering can easily be fixed now, and my shifter has no noticable wobble. Only the pedals are sprung way too softly, though with a bit of practice I was able to work around that. Even though it has no force feedback, I think it handles quite well in games like the Dirt franchise, F1 and Eurotruck. Have yet to try more games, but so far I'm impressed.

@Glockmog20072 жыл бұрын
Very impressive for the price this will probably be the new king for entry level wheels mainly due to the fact that the pedals actually have decent travel and adjustable spring tension and it comes with a shifter. As for the brake people will probably find a replacement spring to swap it with to make it stiffer. Im glad to see a company actually putting effort into the pedals since they are the most important piece of equipment for simracing and previously you had to spend at least $200 for a half decent set. I obviously wont be buying it since I already have a direct drive wheel and clubsport pedals but I wish they had something like this when I first got into sim racing.

It looks like they took some inspiration from an old Mad Catz wheel from a few years ago for the wheel rim design, ngl despite the issues it looks pretty damn good, and it's on another planet to the old one. Great video OC, looking forward to seeing comparisons to the T248 and G923 (if they're planned)

Lol, some inspiration, as someone who owned a second hand Mad Catz wheel, this is practically identical, these are likely the exact same units with some slight modifications. Pedals are the exact same, dpad and action buttons are the exact same. The combination of the PS and Xbox buttons is new. Wheel is the same shape, fabric with the same red accent. Dual shifters on each side are the exact same. Wheel base is the exact same, same red strip accent, same switch between 270 degrees and 900, only addition is the shifter port and the controller USB port. biggest feature change is that the wheel can be removed from the base. Very interesting considering Mad Catz is back around after having gone bankrupt, but I wonder if they sold off their design and specs for the racing wheel to this new manuafacturer.

Very nice review. Thanks a lot. I am living in China and using this wheel for over a month now. Here the honest review from ex user. The pedal sound squeaky. You can fix this by applying some wd or any lubrication. The pedal is good enough to use on racing game. The h shifter is good. It's all plastic bit it's feels better than g29. And you got 3 connectors to use, USB, Lan, and the thursmaster connector. The problem is the ffb. It feels so weird. I cannot put it into word but it's just doesn't feel natural for me. The wheel is small. But the alcantara kind of fabric feels so good for me. The paddle shiftee is so flimsy and sometimes you get double click when you shift. The ffb I think just a software issues. Idk I already sold mine before any update. I use t300rs + pxn h shifter now. It's a sweet spot for me. Not planning to upgrade to DD soon.

Not the perfect wheel but I had mine for 100 bucks aftermarket in great conditions and I cannot complain about it for the price ! it's a very good wheel ! the brake pedal can be modded easily by adding a stronger and shorter spring in addition of the stock spring. Obviously, if you tried some 17nm of torque wheel before, it's gonna be like you drive a 55hp Fiat Panda next having drove a 700hp Ferrari. But for someone who doesnt have a huge budget and wants to discover sim racing, I must to say this wheel is a true bargain, especially if you had it for low price aftermarket. So, let's make something clear. As how some guys commented, yes, this is a rebranded Mad Catz Pro Steering wheel, wich I also own, and I have had issues with the windows driver. Unfortunately you missed a point here wich you didn't mentioned, you can adjust the steering wheel vertical angle from the wheelbase from the small screws, wich for the other mid range wheels you can't! I made the mistake to buy the Logitech G920, such a stupid thing... The wheel base has a stupid high angle and with the time you will feel pain in your wrists.

Saw this on a platform and I was shocked. Pedals and shifter Included, even the wheel is fully covered. I feel like my T150 pro is nowhere near this much the fact that the PXN give much more for that price. My T150 paddle shift rusted after months, and I smell some sort of fried burning inside my wheel when I'm playing long hours. Do I even want to send it back and have them replace? Think about the cost of post from where I'm at and that's what makes me feel disappointed with my T150.

I had the same problems with my t150 and then switched to t300. But the T300 fan sucks and the FFB fades after 1 hour of driving and that is so dissapointing. Totally ruins the experience

I was on board until you mentioned the wheel is smaller. I have a thrustmaster t-80 and it might be fisher price sized but it gets me around the track. Still, I want something adult-sized!!!!!

i dont think you realize how good the t300 base is especially if your drifting. the v10 is just a rebrand madcatz wheel which didint get great reviews at the time as its competor was the g25 or g27.

In canada both thrustmaster and Logitech sim wheels only come with the wheel and 2 pedalsat this price point I payed 450 cad for my thrustmaster tmx ffb wheel and it only came with 2 pedals and a wheel not even considering the fact that the pedals return sprigs broke not even a week after getting it and the wheel cannot use 30% ffb or it makes some horrible grinding noise I think the pros wayyyyy outweigh the cons for pxn I'm definitely buying one even if it may have some issues

Hi! I've recently purchased this PXN V10 but I can't seem to find which wheel stand would be able to fit it? I was looking up the Apiga wheel stand for it. Do u think it would be compatible?

forgot to mention the fact that the wheel is basically a repurposed madcats pro racing wheel.

Hi, I'm a teenager and I'm just starting out with sim racing. I've narrowed down my choices to two steering wheels: the Logitech G923 and the PXN V10. I can't decide between the two. I'm sure of one thing: I'll only use it for gaming and not for any serious sim racing. For example, I want to play play Forza, Euro Truck Simulator, and maybe Assetto Corsa. Can you help me choose?

Same with me but instead of Forza, Grand Turismo I’m not sure but I think this wheel is better, I just like the looks of this one better

I thought Pxn wheels were like a cheap brand you get off Alibaba never thought they would try to compete with proven ffb wheels

Same I always thought they were just bad Chinese knockoffs.
@Serzari2 жыл бұрын
@@Cody.Wright I mean, Logitech already makes its budget wheels entirely in China. There's no reason a Chinese company shouldn't be able to compete with a Chinese product that's barely changed in over 15 years. I hope they iron out the issues and give Logitech some much deserved market pressure
@Cody.Wright2 жыл бұрын
@@Serzari ya thiers still a difference in quality between a company that has a product made in China vs. A product made by a Chinese company.
@Serzari2 жыл бұрын
@@Cody.Wright I have family in the electronics repair business, who helped me repair the shoddy all plastic encoder wheel in my G27. There really isn't. It's all disposable and often outsourced to the same factories with the same "good enough" components. Most of these companies effectively made their own cheap Chinese knockoffs to appease shareholders when compared to where they started, like the WingMan Force and trackballs with reasonable lifespans. Design beats brand in this market, since none of it is built to last below the high end market anyways

I'd rather shop for a used wheel. My entry level was a logitech DFGT my gosh what an abuse did it withstand. Later I've found a T500RS for 80€ with modded brake pedal paired with a modded logitech shifter with rubber bands and a metal sparco knob and a handbrake made of flight joystick now I need to upgrade the PC and screens but I still love this setup

Wait the same steering wheel works for both Xbox and ps4? You don’t need to purchase two; one for each system? This is the only wheel in the entire market that does that.
