Dude! Like, how did you manage to simultaneously go this hard without losing the, as everybody says, haunting feel of the original? That's a feat alright! Color me impressed. Well done.

An excellent remix of one of the most haunting tracks in video game history. When it comes to abandoned ancient ruins music, Cries of the Planet is just amazing.

Definitely a track that has been long overdue. Nicely done.

The best compliment I can give this remix is that you make it sound a LOT like something Yuki Kaijura composed, which is saying something. Either you've been directly influenced by her, or you're channeling the same ethereal mindset when you sit at your PC. Either way, really, REALLY well done.

Isn't this Xenogears?

It's a theme of City of the Ancients. It's from OG FF7. You can hear it at the end of the disc 1. It plays exclusively in that location. It's the place you spend a night at just before Aerith dies by the blade of Sephiroth beneath the city.

Hmm, Babel Tower? Sort of reminds me of it, now that you mention Xenogears.

@@ScarletEdge Look, just because it's a 25-year-old game and most people know the spoiler, it's still not cool to just straight up say where and when it happens without hiding it below the break. Leave *some* surprises for the uninitiated, for godssake.

no, spoil away. I don't support censorship of any kind even for myself. It's also the most famous thing about FF7. Let's not coddle people especially about old things. I legit could have sworn this was a xenogears song and was expecting no comments at all.
