Wonderful garden tour, Brian. I took notes! Like you, I did a tour recently just to capture some elements of our garden. Who knows, we may sell our house and move before I see the garden in its summer and fall colours again. I keep a list of plants to include in our new home and I added cardinal climbers and Abe Lincoln tomatoes to the list. What to do with all those loofahs? Hugs to sweet Heidi. ~ Sandra

Hey Sandra! Sorry the house situation has everything up in the air, I am sure it's getting old. Glad to see you got Gilligan up and running. All of the small luffas will turn into worm food, it is best to have the luffas dry on a living vine, our season is a bit short for that. Last time I grew them I hung them in the basement, to humid and about 1/2 rotted, still worm food. This time I plan on wiping the largest ones down with hydrogen peroxide and dry out in the attic. If you want, I am huge on saving seeds, it would be my honor to send you some cardinal climber and Abe Lincoln seeds. Thanks for watching, and for Heidi's hugs! Stay Well!!!!

@@NanasWorms As I said, I would be honored. I think I am turning into a squirrel, I have to save seeds from everything, lol. First frost last week, give me some time, will harvest this years seeds to send to you. A garden is a living thing, I really hate to see it it go away, at least I can save the seeds to make it grow again. My gardening neighbor past 3 years ago, his awesome garden is nothing but a yard of weeds. Most probably, that will happen here when I am gone. I am mostly sad for the wildlife I have supported, especially the hummers and monarchs. I am old, but strong, life has a way to screw things up, lol. Stay Well!!!!

I feel the same about the generations of hummers, finches, etc., not to mention all the worms and other critters in our mulch and compost. We are the only house on the block that DOESN'T have naked soil. Ouch 😕 ~ Sandra
