Wow, the OC-2 sounds MUCH better. I wasn't expecting that. I guess I'm not buying the Nether after all.

I suspect there's phase cancellation going on at times with these. There might be some ms time delay between the dry and the sub signals causing this. That would explain why one might work better on higher notes and such. Since you demoed the whole time with the dry blended in, it's harder to say for sure though. Ideally you'd compare each knob to the other pedal one at a time, then find the setting that match them. Sub 2 @ Noon on Boss = Sub 2 @ 2 on TC, etc. Then start putting the parts together. But Boss seems to definitely win based on your approach.

Nice comparison. I'm trying to decide between the Boss OC-2 and Foxrox Octron3, leaning towards the latter. Feel free to make a shootout between those two!; )

I would go for the nether, I don't like sub octaves on higher notes, it sounds like a blocked nose, I like the high notes to soar, on a song like Foxy lady the Nether would stretch the tonal range and give more spread and Impact, the boss would double up too much and muffle maybe?

I just got the Nether twice, sent the first one back, because it didn't hold the tone properly, but found out the second did the same. Not very happy with it. Anyone with similar experiences?

Interesting.... listening to Alex play on Single pick ups at the start sounds really great on both pedals a lot better then expected. Once it got distorted, really high or really low just sounded god awful and not a sound you would want to use 🤷🏻‍♂️ which one would I buy think it would have to be the Boss just not the flexibility in the Nether.
