who listens not only to hear the voice of the violin but also its owner?

His voice always gets me! I always have a brief chuckle by it at the beginning of any of his videos, as though I will never entirely get used to it!❤️

Ive never heard such a voice in real life before, he could also be a radiospeaker or a speaker for audiobooks, adventure novels or so.
Exact ! Heifetz said he didn't play more in tune than the others. The point is he corrected faster than the others.

Thank you for your invaluable and generous classes. I do not know what I admire most, your fantastic playing and artistic skills or the ability you have to analyse, apprehend, decompose clearly the elementary difficulties of violin playing as a scientific researcher would do. Not to forget your voice ... I worked Kreutzer, Dont and Rode (which I did not practice for years...) with an immense pleasure and I improved a lot following your way of practicing. Quite inspiring!

If Kerson didn't take up the violin, he would kill as a voice actor or radio broadcaster. An asian morgan freeman, if you will.

Even though most of this video is exercises (the first half) some parts of this almost sounds like it could become part of a modern composition!! Especially with added dynamics. Thanks for including the wonderful concerto and cadenza excerpts as well!

Wonderful playing, your exercises help a lot, could you some day make a video about how you hold your violin without a shoulder rest? I’m always amazed by how stabil your violin is in place.

I keep thinking of this series as the art of caprice.

Mr. Leong you are great! Could you make a video talking about how do you focus and control the tension in both arms?? It's a task that "give me a lot of headaches". Thank you so much for your work it's really interesting

Thanks for your videos Kerson! So valuable. A question not pertaining to music, what set-up (i.e. microphone) do you use to make your videos? The sound quality is outstanding. Thanks in advance!
