I binged on your videos a while back, and finally decided to budget paycheck to paycheck on one income to help my husband pay off his debt. It's always good to get a refresher from you. Love your budget workbook! It's just a bit pricey for me when it comes to planners but is well organized and clean. Maybe for xmas I can splurge 🤷🏽‍♀️

I see that you save for your son’s college but what I do not see is your retirement saving/investing. Do you save through your company in a 401k or 403b plan? I have looked through your website but didn’t see really any mention of it. I think that would be helpful to mention as not everyone’s company or employement status offers this.

As I recently heard Dave Ramsey say,"robbers don't have xray vision" they probably assume you have a wallet full of credit cards like everyone else. More teller slips in the planner please-asking for a friend. I'm thinking about buying your workbook even though I don't use cash envelopes. I think the format/layout are beautiful and functional at the same time.

My husband gets paid biweekly. I don’t find the need to budget months ahead. I fill out the calendar with all bills and the times we get paid that month and then maybe the one after to see if I need to include a few bills from there. No need for us to do it so far in advance

I've only started AGAIN doing my cash envelopes if I have to say put €42 in one envelope and €17 in another I have to round up to €45 & €20 because our €1s are coins

Question! Where does everyone store their sinking funds envelopes? I’m currently using the printable version of the BBP workbook so I stuff them in the binder that holds it together but sometimes I leave that in my car and it’s not the most comfortable feeling especially when I’m parked far away. Organizing ideas are much appreciated!

I love your system but i have a question. When you travel do you take your envelope full of cash with you. How do you pay for hotels, rental cars, etc with cash.? Keep making the good videos. Thanks.

Mark Hines when you go to book those online, you usually get a total before you pay. So for a car rental, I would see what the total would be. Then take that out of my envelope and deposit it in the bank. Then pay for the rental online with my card. It’s a hassle but unless you’re booking last minute, it’s pretty easy.

I'm new to the envelope fund. I'm a debit card user for my groceries & gas purchase. I tend to Void gas stations that accept cash. Ideally I would keep the card in the envelope only assigned to gas. Groceries is an easy switch. Any suggestions?
