October 26, 2018 Update: The ACTUAL Final Ride on the Dover! SmartRise finished, but not in service.

Filmed on October 26, 2018: This was officially my VERY LAST time seeing this elevator in its originality from 1983. As you see all the way to the end of this video, I got the parts saved for me to take home. My childhood elevator will be missed, but I thankfully got the parts. Anyways, you can see that the barrier walls have been removed and the SmartRise mod on the Westinghouse from 1981 is fully done, but has not been put into full service yet. They also covered the hole where the Westinghouse call station goes into with black duct tape on every floor.

What memories you had. Always a shame to see them get modded, especially by a company that's just purely for fixtures that they just slap them onto existing elevators than make their own elevators from the ground up. I watched your other videos about this mod thingy happening around that time, and yes the new fixtures look boring and unattractive compared to the older ones that were pre-installed on those elevators from the early 80s. And just like you said, slapping those new fixtures on something you highly appreciated is just a slap in the face.

I'm so sad to hear that the door is getting petrol service and a new ones gangland I hope the new one will be nice and smooth and very cool awesome both of yours don't know about smart Rise just ordinary nothing really cool about it but I'm still very sad to hear that guys getting put away I wish it can stay there forever it's very nice elevator I don't think it's ever had one breakdown rep best over ever they are and the westinghouse building one guess my dreams are not coming true but I'm too excited to see what smart Rises will be like also I hope you have enjoyed this video of yours
