Brief Recap on the Tropics: Hurricane Orlene formed in the Eastern Pacific and made landfall in Mexico, Paine peaked as a Tropical Storm in the Eastern Pacific and never made landfall, and Kulap and Roke peaked as Typhoons out to sea in the Western Pacific.
So far in the Western Pacific, Hinnamnor, Nanmadol, and Noru have all been Category 5s. Malakas was a Category 4, and Tokage and Muifa were Category 3s.
