my daughter will NEVER feel worthless, because she was and IS worth my life! i was raped and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, who was born 4 months premature, weighing only 1 lb 5 ozs and she is ALIVE today, beautiful and whole and well, and HAPPY! and she brings happiness to everyone who lays eyes on her! she is my Life and my greatest Love and without her i would not be here today!

Just watched this movie I was in tears throughout most of the movie. I was adopted when I was 12 I was in the foster care system ever since I was a little girl. some of the speeches in this movie really got me upset and made me cry especially the one she has with the pastor towards the end of the movie.

Gianna is so vibrant and full of life. I'm pro-choice from a legal stand point (but believe there needs to be limits on abortions) and pro-life spiritually. Three people tried to get me to have an abortion. That was hard. But it's even better now that I can tell my son that I had a choice, that others (who shall not be named) wanted me to have an abortion, but I loved and wanted my child so much that despite my circumstances - I CHOSE life. I wasn't forced into choosing either way. :)

@tnoyy34rt She's not brainwashed; she's a survivor. Denying that there is pain involved in that "choice" is burying one's head in the sand. I applaud this movie that actually takes a look at this issue, instead of brushing these stories of REAL people under the rug. Honesty now equals hate???

I rarely go to cinemas. Life is busy and if paying for a service it's reasonable to expect a certain quality from that service. When this came out I went with my mother. We had seen Gianna speak in person and shaken her hand. This film exceeded expectation & the audience was completed united in spirit. My next birthday after I was given this and every time ... it still shakes me. Give this film a try - please.

You would feel worthless even if adopted? I mean, I can understand those poor kids in orphanages (China, Russia, etc) feeling that way, but if a child is CHOSEN for adoption, how could they possibly feel worthless? I am a supporter of birth control (insurance should cover it 100% w/no co-pays) and early elective abortions, however, if your birth mother CHOSE to give you life, then your adoptive parents CHOSE you to become part of their family - how could you feel worthless?

Looking at the comments really highlights the problem with making it a religious issue. You guys are arguing about God's existence when unborn children are getting killed. I'm a pro-life atheist and I appreciate when we just focus on the reality of abortion, of human life, of a person's one chance at existence, and of giving everyone a chance to experience all the love, joy, pain, and happiness life has to offer. Nothing will get done if you polarize the issue based on religious belief.

I believe that the earth was created a giant bagel, but cold. Jesus, in heaven, before he was actually born, warmed the big bagel in his toaster, then schmeared it with salty cream cheese. The cheese melted and became the earth's crust. Jesus and God wept together at the melting of the cheese, Clarisse, and that became the oceans.
