Hosting readathons is legitimately exhausting. I would never want to create my own. I love this readathon and would love for it to continue eternally. But it is completely relatable to not have the bandwidth to commit to it.

I don't know if you kept your old boards or not but IF you had and IF you felt inspired to host a round next year then maybe you could pull an old board out of retirement. I would love to replay older boards and it would be less prep for you too xx

Or just mix and match prompts from old boards. There's no reason a new board has to be 100% new.

This is what I came to the comments to say! Making the boards must be a ton work and she has several now so there's no reason not to rotate them! People will roll and land on different spaces each time anyways!

The Bone prompt refers to a cover with an off white colour cover - that can also go all the way to light brown. I would like to add PARCHMENT paper on the cover which also comes under this colour range as well. This opens up a whole new genre to read!!

I love Bookoplathon so much and this board is great, but I also have loved every board you’ve made us. I will always want to participate in any bookoplathon and have greatly appreciated how many you’ve hosted. I’ll be sad if this truly is the last, but you and your levels of enjoyment are the most important. Those of us who are forever addicted can always break out an old board and re-use one next year for nostalgia 😃

I’m so excited! Knowing from experience, Readathons are -to say the least- a LOT of work. It can be draining so always take care of yourself. That being said, I can’t wait to make my rolls and get all those doubles. Again 😂

What if you had a bookopoly you didn’t have to make any new prompts for!? Could random generate a number to correlate with past boards and then roll to see what prompt you get and then randomize the board between each prompt picking up in whatever square you left off respectively on each new board 👀 BOOKOPOLY MIX AND MATCH MAHEM

Hi Becca, I have a question. Which exactly is the go space on the board?

I cant tell if this is sarcastic or not, but it it is not then when you open the board JPG the GO space is at bottom right corner, where it has always been. It has the word GO printed in green - and also the words Randomise your TBR written in black in that same square. The arrow is green and it points to the left so the dice rolls will take you to the left around the board. Hope this helps.

Well, I'm glad that I'm crazy, because I like to do 2 rounds, a TBR and then a roll as you go, but I want to have a full month for roll as you go, and I have other plans in November, so I'm going to do my TBR round this month-I have a base rate of 15 rolls, and I got 4 doubles, so 19 books, Hehe. I'm glad that I decided that, because I just got approved for The Whispering Night by Susan Dennard today, and had to read it today, so I'm glad that I got Ghostface! Also, no pressure for the future, we want you to want to host another round, and to have fun and enjoy it, and if you don't feel that way, then we don't want that experience for you.
