Came to spill the tea! It is a reinterpretation of the original, which was created by Christine Nagel and Sylvaine Delacourte. This reformulation was reimagined by Delphine Jelk. It adds a smoky accord and tea accord that is different from Gourmand Coquin. Still worth trying as it might be better

It’s really hard to stop blind buying and I really don’t understand why buying a full bottle blind is more exciting than a sample or travel size. But it is. I’ve curbed a lot of my tendencies by periodically buying a bunch of samples and buy only getting travel sizes. But - If the sale is good I still will blind buy. In fact I just blind bought shunkoin, which I think is far from safe. A moment of weakness. 🤷‍♀️

I love Sirrah. It’s gorgeous in the summer too. It has some fruity tropical notes that drift to the top and keep your mood elevated and refreshed. I bought a bottle last fall and it shattered in shipping. It was a tester. The scent soaked the shipping box and the fragrance box. The vendor replaced the bottle . Anyway, I couldn’t bear to throw out the scented box. I’ve “hidden” it downstairs and my main room still smells heavenly. It’s not overpowering but intoxicating, even at full bottle strength😂 I love your lists, Veronica. You always have something I want to explore more. Thank you.

For me the one of Amoage in the dray down smell just a beautiful copal the best copal and I know that smell perfect since every, is a beautiful perfum, usually the copal is used in temazcales and difrent prehispanics ceremonys

The closest and most realistic I've smelled is in the new Circque du Soleil perfume BUT it's accompanied by buttered popcorn and doesn't last long as a note.

Same thing happens to me with Jardins de Misfah. I had a sample and loved it, then got the full bottle and it was lighter and less dense and sweet. I let it sit for a few months and now it smells like the sample. Glad I watch your vlogs because I was able to see you create this Halloween inspired eye look 😉👍🏼

These awards series are the best, I always look forward to them as if I’m watching people getting trophies😂😂. It’s been super cold here with snow in some parts of the country so I had to take out some of the fragrances that you have mentioned🥶🥶. I will say Bianco Latte really took me by surprise when I was going through the discovery set💣💣, I could still smell it the following morning😳😳. During our winter I layered Coffee Addict with Cabanel and the former just took over☕️☕️. I love that Amber Oud it’s soooooooooooo powerful but it’s done really well and one of the few sweet perfumes I wear. But as you said if you’re not light on the trigger and you lock yourself in your car for a drive just know you wouldn’t make it out alive 😂😂😂😂 definitely a choker 😂😂😂

@@VeronicaSays I am just starting my journey with niche perfumes. So far i was only a designer Girl. I am trying a lot of decants to see what i like. Xerxoff is too in your face for me and often much too harsh for my nose. I tried Erba Pura which everybody seems to love. I hated it. I had to scrub it from my hand. But i might have found a love. I wore today all day La Capitale and i love it and i am still testing 400. So who knows? But for me Xerxoff is not a safe blind buy. Parfums de Marly is safer for me although i hate Delina. I cannot stand rose in perfumes. I love more the men’s perfume line from PDM than the women’s. The only feminine one which i truly love is Safanad. I am in Europe so i am mostly trying niche houses from here. It is easier for me to get decants. I also love Miller Harris. I have not heard a lot of people talking about it.

Starlight is one of my favorite perfumes - I definitely don’t get tortillas from it 😂😂 I get a gorgeous citrus cardamom and a sweet, deep cinnamon amber. It’s a 9/10 to me…the only reason it’s not a full 10/10 is because I wish the opening lasted longer

Hi Veronica! Loved the video; I always look out for your content. I heard the rumor, but always thought that's all it was: Gourmand Coquin possibly making a comeback. I purchased the OG (in the newer bottle though) from a Belgian boutique for a hefty price. But it came with all sorts of extras costing at least €150, so substracting that from the retail price, the perfume itself was reasonable. I wonder if the formulation will be the same: fève means bean in French, and in fragrances referred to tonka, but there is no tonka in GC. Maybe bean as in cocoa bean? I think I still want a bottle anyway. Which one do you prefer: TF Noir Extreme or the Le Parfum version? I prefer the latter as the kulfi note is much stronger in it, and I just looooooove Kulfi! One of my favorite desserts.

So weird that everyone gets cinnamon from Bianco Latte instead of caramel even though there isn’t cinnamon listed as a note. I totally agree though, definitely a sweet cinnamon fragrance to me.
