I cannot tell you how awesome it is to hear how different opinions and methods seem to work out. We need to get some Mrs Low Brow voice over on some of these videos!

There is just something about that Junebug that gives me a lot of confidence. It is funny how that color performs all across different waters with a variety of water clarities.
@LowBrowFishingАй бұрын
If I had to pick a confidence color, Junebug would have to make the short list of choices. It just works so well!

My favorite lures is either the spinner bait or a black & blue and watermelon red flake wacky rig. Thanks LowBrow for your tips this helps out 👍🏻🎣

I like darker colors for fishing under docks. Works great!

Agreed! Casting into shadows makes a difference for color selection.

I prefer a darker bait most times. Junebug is probably my favorite. I get more bites then with green pumpkin.

Junebug is a great color!

Cool and cloudy this morning, my best day in a bit, including a 4.4 lb on junebug trickworm and 3.5 on black/blue yum dinger waco rig

I love to use a.jig ,primarily one with a weed guard.i use several different jigs, ned head,on a hulla grub.finesse jig with ball head,and a craw trailer, flippin jig w a chunck,or beaver.and a foot ball head 1/4 oz so it hangs up less, and less debris when dragged.i mostly work a football head ,hopping them along rip rap w a ole monster cut down as a trailer for the jig.

There are so many things you can do with jigs!

I been trying different grub colors like you said and I am catching more fish. That's less I can just sit there and drink beer tho.
@LowBrowFishingАй бұрын
Haha! Sorry I cut into your beer drinking time!

Lowbrow, in my lake in Central Kentucky, we don't have grass, hydrila, or Lilly pads . Will the Wako rig work up on the bank in rocks,around log lay downs and stumps. The water stays clear the majority of time year round even after a rain. Thanks, Joe, in Kentucky.
@LowBrowFishingАй бұрын
The Waco rig will work great around rocks and laydowns!

We just recently moved 5 months ago, and I found a small lake in one of our state parks 19 minutes from the house. Up side its close, down side it gets a ton of pressure. What is going to make this fun is the challenge of learning a lake. i know nothing about and catching fish that have either been caught 7 or 8 times and / or seen every lure from every store in the country. Tight lines, Joe from Kentucky

Shoot forgot to ask about the Wako rig? I know of wacky and neko, I imagine this is a combination of them but Google isn't giving me any great results. Thanks in advance!

The Waco rig is something I started doing a couple of years ago to try to find a better way to fish a wacky rig in the super thick vegetation of my local lakes. Here's one of the videos I did on it - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHq0noKjZst8pck

What about dark green like water with heavy vegetation weeds.,.
@LowBrowFishingАй бұрын
Out in the sun, white would probably be my color choice as it almost glows in stained water, but junebug or black might also work well because those colors have a more striking contrast from the surroundings.
