I'm really curious how your roe deer tastes compared to my mule deer and whitetail here in British Columbia. I've had deer in Germany supplied by hunters but I found it a little strong in flavour as they hunt in the rut. The deer here, if you get them not in rut are very flavourful but not rutty taste.

I tasted Whitetail when I was in North Carolina in 2023 and both my wife and I agreed that it was very similar to Roe deer. The rut taste is applying more to red deer I think

I have noticed you shooting an eagle flight bow quiver and the great Northern bow quiver. Which one do you like the most? I hunt with a hip quiver so not sure to try a bow quiver? I don't mind climbing in a tree stand with the hip quiver and hanging it in the tree. For safety I should not climb with a hip quiver as I read a hunting magazine about a guy that fell out of the tree while climbing and wearing his hip quiver. The arrows fell out upon his fall and the arrow, broadhead went through his leg..
