I love Akay woods. The manor house used to have an Arboretum, that's why there are some odd trees in there. The house was a grand affair and was seconded by the army in WW1. Afterwards it fell to ruin. The reason there's not much to see is that most of the stone was "taken" and used in buildings around the town. I love seeing my old town in your videos, I was brought up there and until dad died a couple of years ago, I would pop up every few weeks to see him. I'll be up in a few weeks to scatter my dogs ashes by that little beach in Akay, he loved swimming there.

I’m a fan of Findra clothing too! Layering makes it so versatile. Hubby and I would be lost without their merino range when we cycle tour. We were in the LD for a week recently and were so glad to see Chester’s has evolved to survive. We had a very good lunch. 😊

How beautiful, your little lady is just soooooo cute! And it's so hard to think it was a whole year ago since we were all sat on the edge of our seats waiting for the news if you had had the baby...time has gone so quickly. But you sure have packed alot into a year that's for sure! Incredible and very inspirational. We'll done Momma & daddy you really have done phenomenally. And not forgetting Oslo who has I'm sure taken everything in his stride and welcomed his baby sister 😊... The outdoor kitchen for Aífe sounds fantastic for Christmas. I like the pieces you showed in the Findra line of clothing along with the colors. Warm. How does this material wash? I've only had a few wool items that required steam cleaning only to avoid shrinkage. Aife is cute saying Hi. Love her smiles. Love her giggles when Harvey tosses her in the air. Looked like a chilly dunk in the lake. Brrrr. Your blanket looked like one I would cuddle up with while reading a book, nice & warm. Nice to see your Mother Athena. She looks well.
