I finished Amari and the Night Brothers recently in January and I agree! It was so amazing and I was also loving the twists at the end! I’m patiently waiting for the sequel!!

Thank you so much for the videos. I just love watching them and hear u talk about books with such joy and excitement. I've been suffering from episodes of depression for 2 years now and I swear to God watching ur videos is one of the very few things that cheers me up along side books, and I can't wait to watch them every time! ❤

The character's name, from the Forest of Stolen Girls, is pronounced Hwan E, not Hah Wan E. I know it's not easy to pronounce every name you come across in books correctly so just helping you out :)

I only read one book this month on top of my uni work and trying to socialise for the first time in almost one and a half years hahah. But that book was Hollowpox by Jessica Townsend, which I have been wanting to read ever since it came out! Such a wonderful story ✨

I'm so excited you're reading the Wheel of Time! I'm at the beginning of a WoT journey too (recently finished book #3, thinking of reading the prequel before the show statrs) and it's so fun to watch booktubers I like go through it too.

Last month I finished up Way of Kings, Ship of Magic, and a few one-off books in-between. I also got halfway through Eye of the World and Mad Ship. I'm fully obsessed with the Live Ship Traders Trilogy but so far not impressed with Wheel of Time. I hear it gets better though so I'll press on!

Omg yesss! The end to Rhythm of War literally just had me staring at a wall I was so shook. There were so many little threads he left dangling for all these possibilities and I feel like 💩 is gonna fly off the wall in book 5 I am so ready (but also not lol)

I've been very busy this month with work and uni, so I only finished one book in October and that was ship of magic by Robin Hobb- which I will say I like but actually so far prefer the farseer series more! not to say ship of magic was bad, i gave it 4.5 stars, but everyone said how much better liveship traders is than farseer and especially The Assassins Apprentice and the Royal Assassin I LOVED! I also started Beasts of Prey which is a new African inspired YA and its really good so far!

How “beginner friendly” is the wheel of time? I’ve read a couple adult standalone fantasies and quite a bit of middle grade and young adult fantasies. Should I read some Brandon Sanderson first or what would y’all recommend?

I haven’t decided if I want to finish a lesson in vengeance. I can’t seem to connect with the characters. The ex hex was fun, but it was just an okay book, 2.75 stars for me. This books could have been much more than what it was and I also got Gilmore girls vibes as well .
