Anytime i can watch one of your videos i get excited as i see a different art supply and a painting you created, its always interesting i dont think i would ever get into pastels unless its oil type the dry version is a art form the makes my fingers quiver cause the feel of pastels dont feel comfortable on my fingers..lol... theres not enough cloths to get rid of that feeling of yuckiness from dry pastel to make me feel comfortable enough to want to do pastels again..lol..i guess its good to lnoq what art forms you dont like alto i really like looking at pastel creative art pieces lmikelle art mom...👩🎨🎨✍

Dry pastels are clearly not to the liking of everyone. You are not by any means the first to say they do not like the feel on their hands. :D Fortunately there are loads of other supplies to choose from. :)

Hi Xargot! I love watching your creative process and hearing about your thoughts. Your cat may have eaten the old kneaded eraser 😅 I hear you- my little dog Scrunchy wants to get into everything. I like the contrast and vibrancy you achieved in your soft pastels mask. Yes, that fixative can be a bit tricky. Wonderful mask! Take care Xargot 🥰

Hi Dena. Yea animals and art can be..... something special now and then. My cat stepped in wet watercolour one time I had stepped out for a second....and stepped on my project after. Of all the colours it was phthalo blue..... there were some design changes to the painting after that. :D Some dark areas not originally planned. XD And I had no problem finding the cat who did it. It was the one with the blue paw. hahahaha The mask was fun to do. My art-october project died however. I got the beer bug right after making this video and even though I was not super sick, I kept coughing forever after so I could not film.:/
