For those wondering, yes, the Blue Ringed Octopus does fall prey to other sea creatures. It's biggest problem is the Moray Eel. Venom will do you no good if you get bisected in a single chomp. In addition, there are predatory birds that love to eat them, slaying the golf ball sized killer with a single beak-based skewering. Other fish, like Scorpion fish, make the mistake of trying to swallow the Blue Ringed Octopus whole. This gives it the opportunity to bite the inside of a potential predator's mouth. And people *can* eat them, but we usually don't because A) they are small and provide little nutritional value B) are extremely venomous C) wherever Blue Ringed Octopi are, there are other species that are larger and not nearly as dangerous that are suitable consumables.

Blue. One of the least used colors in nature. Think about it. Even the creatures with blue in its name are not really blue. Blue whale blue shark etc. Any blue insects ? Blue is extremly rare. Blue feathers is the only trully blue creature i can think of ( blue jay )
