I find it most of the time easier to understand people talking english who speak another language as first language as it is to listen to people from english speaking countries. It's probably because these people speak slower and don't use complicated words.

Eyes on the left, flat-out approaching the hill. Hug the left hand-side curve then feed the car in through the right and then the left again using all that available curve on the corner, fight and maintain as possible. You can turn off traction control but the HY-KERS system is engineered to harvest excess torque whenever wheel slip is detected independently of the TC. This means that when you push the pedal down even with powerslide you can see how the HY-KERS is working on the bar as it goes into harvest mode while its spinning.

Soy italiano, no conozco el portugues, asi que se lo digo en espanol. El proceso es logico: si hace videos en ingles los mira mas gente en todo el mundo (no solamente en america, como en mi caso: si hubiese sido en portugues no lo habria mirado probablemente) -> si mas gente mira sus videos el gana mas dinero -> si el gana mas dinero indirectamente va a llevar mas dinero a vuestro pais. Asi que es un bien para Brasil que los videos sean en Inglès, economicamente hablando. ps: y por lo visto los gringos no tienen nada que ver con el ingles, que naciò como lengua en los pueblos frisones entre alemania y paises bajos.

Why doesn't the animated hands match your actual had movements? They should add motion control gloves or touch sensors on the steering wheel to match your actual hand movements.

lots of things to consider, different diameter wheels, distance from wheel, even the size of someones hands... Im sure there will be a solution for this eventually but they should perfect the immersion and sense of space etc before going into intricate details.. I think its a cool idea though, it would be cool if you could get sleeve/gloves on your arms, and some sort of material/sensors to put on your wheel and shifter so they are transferred by a camera of some sort mounted on the front of the goggles into the game.

Yeah the rift is definitely better than any other screen or screens (even 4k) because the imersion you get from it is simply AMAZING and i also find easier to drive, because there is no disconnection from the real world and virtual world anymore, your reality starts to be the game! Yes i played the day long on this thing and for me it feels quite natural, just like driving a real car. I will do a GT race video very soon on Assetto Corsa and review the AI and race aspects while using the DK2, thanks!

One question, are there options to change the cars between left/right handed? I will consider getting a wheel with a decent gearshift, but will be a bit strange having it on the right instead of the left. (UK driver here!)

I don't think so..but you can get used to! I can drive the japanese and UK cars normally, it's only about some laps and you're fine :)

IT IS DONE. I AM GETTING THE OCULUS DK2!!! Thanks to this video and that 29 comment thread in the comment section. I knew about it for months now, but just started to research up on it a couple days ago. I simply can't wait till christmas time, basically a year away. I rather get a piece of the cake now to experience the best breakthrough in virtual reality. It's only 400 bucks. And well worth it! Like come on, there's currently even programs/drivers to play big title games with the oculus!!!! My heart's pumping.... as I look to the right with all the oculus videos. I'm beyond stoked. Sure hope they don't release a final development kit before the consumer version near christmas. I'd be choked lol

RacingMachine I did some research.... By the looks of it, not anyone can just buy this and run it smoothly on a pc. You need some decent power in your computer. What are your pc specs?? I hope my quad-core i7 and gt 755m sli with 8 gigs of ram can run it decently. My gt 755m sli is basically on the same level as a single gtx 770m. I'm on a Lenovo Y510p laptop.
