Yeah! you want to know why you were so scared? It was that small insignificant silence that took place right after you went underground. A stroke of genius. Tho as insignificant as it may seem the silence left your mind isolated and deprived of imput leaving your mind to wonder and imagine what terrible terrible things could happen. That is one of the biggest things I wish games would do more of instead of blasting dark ambient horror music in your ears. Silence is a horror game designers most effective tool. A mind left to wonder is a mind isolated, and an isolated mind is one that descends into insanity. The majority of people go crazy from one of two things. Repeating a pointless task over and over, or from isolation where the mind is left to its own devices.

A pure masterpiece. Film makers could learn a thing or 2 from this game. It's the UNKNOWN and "approaching" that's the scariest, not sudden loud sounds and the monster/ghost being shown in full during the first half of the movie.

Jump scares are easy to recover from, this game affected you so badly because it let you scare yourself, a few well placed barrels and heavier mist made your psyche come up with its own horrors, especially when the girl started talking.

Man every time I watch someone play the Oculus it makes me want the thing so bad and Im hoping my mom will come through and get it for me eventually omg... It just looks so awesome. Lately though Ive been thinking maybe I shouldnt do that to her because of the $ she would have to spend(although she does get a check for me since Im disabled(ish) where I cant work because of anxiety disorder/depression that would cover it)... but I watch this and Im back to fangirl mode. & I'm thinking omg my brother would be so jealous(or at least a little, not that I wouldnt share just to see his reactions (lmao)) if he knew how cool that was... Hes the one who play video games, and has had video game systems in this family... The only one I ever liked was the original Nintendo... Actually I wish he still lived with us so he could do things with me, but he lives in Texas (or is stationed there) ... Hes in the army (army proud sis here!)... and been to Afghanistan and Iraq... & Afghanistan he said was worse than Iraq (Some of the stories are things we heard wenever wanted to hear... Example:1. Like he was in a vehicle on patrol, and his friend asked to drive (like begged a couple of times even as if he knew), Patrick let him... & His friend is the one that died when a grenade went off on them, Patrick came out almost injurey free, it tore him up inside though because the man was one of his best friends... From that & other things he does have that army disability though where they come out with nightmares and depression, where they get backlashes... He was even injured while there so they want to give him the purple ribbon (although he has like a ton, and has moved to a much higher rank since he was last here two years ago. I get a message, or I talk to him (which has been like a handful of times) & I cry so bad after because I miss him that much... & truthfully I didnt think Id miss him that bad... but when he went out to Iraq for the first time (during which time his son was born and he didnt get to be there except through live video)... I was a wreck enough for me to go on another med to make me calmer which was Bupiron , which thankfully worked. Anyway to end this bit of rambling telling my brothers life story a bit... THANK YOU for your channel, it gives me something to look forward to, and one of my hobbies to keep my mind off things... You are hilarious and I love you to death... I don't even mind being a bro even though Im female, when you do that I do it right back to the screen ;) Keep doing the good your doing (which I know you have through charities, and for others the same as me who need the pick me up) Lots of Love, Maggie
