Just a tip for burying cable in the future, if you bolt or weld a pipe to the back of the shank on Travis' mole plough you can feed a cable, flexible conduit or water pipe through as you pull it through the ground. Delighted to see the starlink is working so well for you. Best wishes to Hannah and yourself for the wedding. :)

plowing is definitely the fastest and easiest way to install underground utilities. I work for a company that plows in 2-6 inch poly water pipe 9 feet deep. They use a D9 cat with a custom made plow on it and they pull it with another D9 and two D8's

I thought you did a wonderful job during this cable and I thought you were very resourceful and using the fork for trench in the ditch… It definitely save you a lot of time. Uncertain what your plan is to do with the extra cable laying on the ground by the post…? Looping it at the bottom of the post maybe oh I just haven’t put it in the ground yet? I want to wish you congratulations and best wishes on the wedding!! And very last but most important, hi love how your farm❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ It really is so peaceful and beautiful as you drive around and work anywhere and it makes me feel like my farm back home in so many ways from the farmhouse to the pasture area to the fields and the trees… you keep everything looking so very nice and I can tell you’re proud of your home and farm and I really love it❣️ It’s a very special farm and I would choose a layout like yours any day over many others including giant farms with big fields of pasture and feedlots full of cattle!!! (Like Sonne Farms in South Dakota…too big, I prefer yours)..\

I’ve had Starlink here in northeast PA since feb 21, I have it on a 20ft pole in the best possible spot in my yard but I’m surrounded by trees, so in the winter it’s great, but the other seasons not so much due to leaf coverage that I cannot do anything about since the trees are 60+ feet tall. Always enjoy watching these videos

A single-bottom moleboard plow works well too, especially if you need a really long trench across open ground.

Vacuum cleaner some foam and fishing line are your best friends for getting the cable through the conduit. After getting the fishing line through you can pull a larger rope for pulling the actual cable.

Interesting y'all are having the solar panel discussions too. I'm from rural western Kentucky, the solar folks are offering insane prices to lease open land, but what happens if their company goes bankrupt? That land would all be condemned by the EPA!

Food for thought take your silicon and put it on the top of that fence post and make it watertight so water can’t run down in the fence post and it will last a lot longer we used to put pie pans over them and make a little cap Grace and peace Ryan y’all are in my prayers
