I still remember the Media Home Entertainment opening on that original Day of the Dead release, and the Thorn EMI opening on the original Dawn of the Dead release. (I'm a HUGE Romero fan.) Somehow they had a foreboding to them that segued perfectly into the movies... or maybe it's that those (and IIRC a Media release of Night of the Living Dead) are the only movies I remember with those openings, and watched them many times, so that's the only association I formed to those openings.

The elementary school I attended made use of those TView boxes in every classroom. In all reality, you don't need the software for it at all. It basically just intercepts the VGA output to an external monitor and outputs over composite. They're plug 'n play and fairly quick to setup.

As someone who has lived in MN all my life, this winter does feel particularity brutal, I'm used to below 0 temps and snow, but it usually warm a bit for a while while it snows before going back to -20 t this time of year. instead it's been snow and almost instantly back to below 0 (or -40) which means the salt doesn't really work on the roads.

Ben, those karaoke machines make great giant AV adapters. I used one years ago to go from 1/4" to RCA and from RCA to 1/8". Not to mention that they also make great video monitors as well. With the HitDisc and promotional A Current Affair stuff I'm guessing either a radio DJ or local radiostation offloaded some of their old stuff. I used to work at a recycling center and there was a local radio DJ that would come in once in a while and offload stuff like that. There was usually Rhino stuff galore, I wish I had saved more of it really. But yeah, I assume they would send them off to radio stations for exposure.

Those Sharp Vcr's from that era are actually not that bad; I have the next model up with Hi-fi audio and the picture quality is more than ok.
@VectraQS5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I was about to say that the mono model might be sacrificial, but in terms of picture quality it ain't half bad. Unfortunately you need the remote to adjust the tracking, but it might be doable with a universal remote.
@OtroRedheadMas5 жыл бұрын
@@VectraQS Actually you can adjust the tracking while playing with the channel up and down buttons and if you press both at the same time, it engages auto tracking.
