hey did you see the mention of molluck in your brew-master video. According to a newspaper in the video he is aware of the declining of resources of food, but the Wildlife Protection and preservation Ministry said he was lying. interesting don't you think? like some pulling strings from behind the screens. Molluck this time around seems to be a lot more pragmatic and aware of the problems of his society(ie his correct deduction of the Brewmaster blaming him). If they are going to make him a protagonist in the future then he be the reluctant reformer.

If the next oddworld game is a remake/reimagining of Munch's Oodysse maybe they could include the cut content that was going to be in the original game like Sam and Lady Margaret and the trial of Molluck and maybe Lulu could maybe become an ally to Abe and Munch?

I kind of wish that the protagonist was a slig that was put into the facility to test how greeters would fit the role of security. Then, by the end, he discovered that glokkans had already bought the robots even before he could finish the test. Everybody just assumed that he would fail. However, his efforts are the reason why sligs got to keep their employment. Still good game tho!

Even if he's not important enough to save their employment and was just a random slig. I do like the idea of the slig inspector just being deemed not important enough to bother telling not to go.

I mean the ending could suggest that they throw the player character into the asylum as a constant lab rat to test new versions of the greeters as you constantly try to escape almost like a rogue like (of course with the greeters using a knockout version of their weapons

I watched your LP of it and I have to say you did really good job at making it seem like old abandoned facility that is actually even older place hastily repurposed by Vykers for promotion and production of Greeters, a bit of Boneworks from Exodus mixed in with Labs. Super solid little game. Who knows, maybe someone from OI will see it and offer you a job?

I just finished Smile Factory and that was a blast! A Oddworld Horror game is such an insteresting concept, i hope we'll get a official spin-off one day by OddInHabitants with the help of another studio!

I think you pretty much killed it at this point, watched all your oddworld videos. One thng i always liked about oddworld was the mistery, you just get information from what is still there, especially in the first two games with the mudokon civilisation, but never enough that you understand, the glorious mudokon past shown in the temples stay a mistery. Or what do they gain about paramites, or scrabs, they are terrifying and sentients wich make them divine, it make sense they are worshipped, and it's never shown except at the end that they can live in communion, that worship is a remnant of the past until abe unleash the real god, thataction seem to connect them again, then they can live in communion again, so it mean the link was broken.Seem like only mudokons that achieve enough inner peace will be left alone by them, this seem to have no rules. scrabs and paramites can party tho as seen in the ending lol For the rest nothing topped rupture farms , that setting just got to the point. Anyway i suscribed and liked, like i said you killed it, so you deserve it.

Hi @pupbenny, i never played oddworld back in the day & even now i didnt play soulstorm despite it looking interesting when i saw the announcement trailer (mainly cuz im not big into side scrollers…dont hate me lol) but damn ive been obsessed with your lore videos for the last week, & i love the deep lore/world building. Currently waiting on a copy of soulstorm i ordered to arrive & getting new & tasty also. Side tangent: when i was a kid the only thing i knew about oddworld was the munches Odyssey case I saw at blockbusters. I thought munch was the main character saw Abe in the background and thought it was like a pinky & the brain thing lol
