Compactor pad,, use a truck/trailer mud flap, there’s probably already holes in the metal plat so just drill holes in the mud flap and buy 4 bols, works really good

That curved edge looks amazing. The cuts are super crisp. I find it hard to believe that it was done by hand with an angle grinder. I would really like to have seen video of the work being done. My compliments to whoever did it.

I use a 7 inch makita grinder with a 10 inch blade its easier to handle cuts all the way through and doesn't break your back while your already breaking your back 💯

I am fairly handy with tools and I want to rent bobcat to level my front yard in prep for the pavers. Do you think I should hire the bobcat work or can a homeowner rent it and do it? what would be the non obvious risks?

Go for it if the site is level and safe. If anything tricky hire a pro. Worst thing is you over excavate it. But then can just bring in more base rock

I never understand why they say that paver driveways cost more than concrete. The pavers are already made. You just have to lay them down. I understand that there is work involved in getting them perfect and the substrate has to be right but that's it. You're not paying for a huge truck filled with concrete or the time for it to cure. I love the look of pavers but the cost is just out of control.

1920 sq/ft of pavers cost me $7400, demolition cost 4000, I did the job by myself in 14 days working a little here and there whenever I had time, the fact that you don’t have to do it all at once and can be done a very little tools, like a grinder and a circular saw, it beats concrete every time, looks better and it lasts for ever and no more cracks, can be removed and reused if you ever want to add a underground line.. You guys did a great job
