Compared to super heroes, I've always found Anime characters like these to be the best kind of heroes and inspirations, even when they're like Luffy who isn't trying to be one. They carry all the right values: things like honor, respect, hope, fearlessness, dedication, willingness, and a code of right and wrong to live by. They have a sense of purpose and dedication in their lives that allow them to live life to their fullest with so little regret, even facing death without fear. Even when they go through difficult times and face real change and growth, it doesn't take away the core of who they are. They show what it means to truly stand tall in a world always trying to bring them down. Also, they aren't afraid to be themselves and stick to their beliefs no matter what anyone says. I love One Piece!

In my opinion. The first lethal strike was Oden trying to figure out what amount of force was needed to end Kaido with one shot. When he realized he needed more force after the first hit failed. The second strike would've killed Kaido.

The fact the old woman was put in to distract Oden is, in a writer's term, litteraly saying "If this didn't happen deadass kaido would have just died right there and then". Oden had to spend his time dancing and stop training and then the ennemy was tipped off to him coming to assassinate kaido AND THEN the old woman intervened. @@BUFFEATER-lp8zk kaido still stronger sadly, spoilers below in my reason though oden can hurt kaido badly, the most recent chapter (as of posting this) we learn that you can cover yourself in conquerors haki, so you arent directly hitting them but you’re doing more damage than what you originally did. covering your self in conquerors haki doesn’t allow your opponent to get close to you unless your opponent can also cover them selves in conquerors, which is why it proves so useful (of course it buffs your damage by alot). we see a example of this in whitebeard and roger’s fight.
