Yes! Totally agree with you that it should’ve been two palettes. Also, those squishy shimmers definitely need a reformulation. I’m pretty disappointed with this Oden’s Eye release and I don’t say that often.

I don't need to try Odens Eye again for a while, but I had reached that decision some time ago. This release does not tempt me, but I really enjoy your thorough reviews.

Honestly it looked more tempting in your video than in the product photos, because I saw some of the depth of the colors. I like the sparkly formulas from Odens Eye and can deal with if they're harder to work with, and I have to say I like dark, nearly black shimmers...so maybe this is actually for me, even though it definitely wasn't love at first sight.

Great for the stage. I love the fire & ice color story, the color shift shades, and the shiny shades. Not a fan of glitter. I'd love to see them do more softer shades. Something more wearable.

I always look to see if u have a video with swatches/looks for a palette I’m interested in because you’re always so in depth, HONEST, and your eye looks are beautiful…thanks for another great video..! I love the matte colors in this palette, but not the shimmers-so it’s a pass, $60 is too much for me for just the mattes in this…

I wish brands would just say no to those squishy shades. It’s a lovely color story and the packaging is gorgeous.

I decided not to buy bc I realized I would only be buying the palette for that green shade 😅 I’m sure I can find a dupe somewhere - I’ll be on the hunt 😬

OE really fell off since late last year 😐 I might have been tempted if it was just the cool side, but the layout makes my bones itch. Red blush looks nice though.

Looks like the Nomad Verona palette imo. Not a brand or palette I would spend my money on at the moment.

Agreed. I have the nomad Verona palette and it definitely is not my favorite palette so I don’t need another like that one. It’s not like a dupe, there’s differences but it’s a similar vibe with the cool shades on one side and warm on the other.

I don’t really need anything. I’d rather buy a few singles from Oden’s eye and maybe some of the new highlighters. I don’t want that much sparkle on my cheeks but I would try them as one and done shadows.

This is definitely by far their worst palette to date. I also don’t understand what has happened to the shimmer quality with now every shade being wet/squishy. They used to just sometimes hard pan.

Nah. As usual, I like the look of the cheek products, but there are too many shades in the palette that I won’t use. And I don’t last long with squishy shades.

OE has never been my “favorite” brand, but their shadows are nice. I wish you had showed swatches of each shadow in the palette in depth, which is usually what you do. And flakey shadows never go on well with a brush, which you already know. Just an interesting review today.
