an acoustic stripped down arrangement of a song I wrote for my band Covet. Happy to announce we are going back on tour:
dates: tix.soundrink....
note: The song was named Odesa or Odessa after the Ukrainian city my violin teacher was from. This song was dedicated to him. He did so much for my musicality and discipline and always believed in me/pushed for the best out of me. As everyone already knows, Ukraine needs all the help they can get right now:

Just spent 150 minutes playing through your Acoustics and other playthroughs with my 2 and a half year old girl. She locked eyes with the screen, let her head move to the rhythm and was fingering imaginary strings in the air. Despite her tummy ache, you were still able to bring her to a place of beauty tonight. Thank you for the unrivaled inspiration. ❤

Some of the guitar tone and the arrangement kinda reminds me of William Ackerman. The guitar reminds me of his album Imaginary Roads and the violin reminds me of the opening piece from Passage, Remedios. there's also a piece with a viola solo over guitar on that album, which I love because I always think viola is an underused soloing instrument.

I can't recall seeing you so sad (and angry) - or so it appears to this stranger who has never met you, anyway. In a sad or pensive song or passage of a song, you normally have moments where that smile will break out and shine, where something has sounded exactly as you wanted it to - some musical joy breaking through during the expression of some less ebullient feelings in music. So I'm guessing there were other things on your mind as you played this. (Especially when you dug into the guitar like that. That's not something you often do?) So musically, humanly, artistically beautiful, but I get the point. (Or what I think might be the point.) Thank you.
