Damn, I remember singing Akpoaza songs to my Grandma. It was always one of those things that as a little boy you dread, but once it was all over with, I always got so giddy with happiness when I would hear her pure laughter and joy at my youthful voice (and my complete inability to speak Igbo properly😂). Now that she’s been gone for nearly a year and a half now, I’ve always termed for one last chance to sing to her. No matter how much I butchered any of those songs, it was her happiness in what she heard that was most important. This song makes me happy.😊
