Okay, so for the people saying it’s pronounced “Say-in”, you’re technically wrong, but it doesn’t really matter. It’s suppose to be pronounced as “Sigh-in” but people just stuck with saying “Say-in” due to the funimation dub’s mispronunciation of the word Saiyan. Saiyan originated from the Japanese word “yasai” which is pronounced as “yah-sigh” and means vegetable(hence every saiyan’s name originating from vegetables). If you were to move around the syllables, it would be saiya which is pronounced as “sigh-yuh”, not “say-yuh”. But to be honest, why does it even matter? You can pronounce it the way you like.

@Odin Makes: Not trying to offend you in anyway, there are some things that needs a bit tweaking in your scouter. 1. The scouter is slanted due to because you made the lens and the frame connected to the scouter in the middle, which it makes it too slanted. I would have made this scouter close or base off of glasses where the glasses uses the Temple frame to make sure the glass frame doesn't look slanted. 2. the scouter is just too bulky, probably better if you could make it smaller. Overall, the design is nice and i like how you put lights on the lens.

A very very large portion of dragon ball fans speak English, and in English it is pronounced ‘say-an’. Being a dragon ball fan has nothing to do with knowing alternate pronunciations of languages one probably doesn’t even speak.

But did you know that IN ENGLISH its supposed to be pronounced "Cyan"? The only reason we call it "Say-an" today is because the dub had only translations from the Spanish version of Dragon Ball back in 2002 when Ocean Dub and Funimation first started appearing, and had no direct correlation to the original like we do today. So "Say-an" is a direct translation of what the Spanish called their Saiyans while in actuality, in the Jap, its possible we could've adapted "Cyan" due to it being the actual name of the race; i.e the "Saiya - jin" or "Saiya - race" since jin is a japanese suffix.
