@@dackel4253 I see. We will see what LG Display has to offer in 2025. But I can say the text-quality on my AW3225QF is really good. At least for "normal" office work an web browsing it's absolutely fine. I don't see any color fringes.

So wait. Samsung secretly had already an 27 inch 4k OLED monitor on ces 24. But they called it an test monitor for …. And market it as 3D. I am not into 3D. But if you can use both of best worlds then it is probably tempting … but I think this monitor will cost 1700 euros at launch. I am locked in for the lg 45gx series on Black Friday 2025. But maybe also this one… now I just need Alienware their reveals. And new 4k HDR projectors from benq x3000i series… x3200i

The 3d odyssey also has a 37" version. Tho not announced it was last yr. That 45GX look nice tho.. i am hearing the new 45gx is not a bright monitor. Too many pixels being pushed. We shall see.

​@@rahb2096 400% scale would be very nice but 8K 480Hz needs 477 Gbps for 8 bits and 573 Gbps for 10 bits. So, you won't have it in the near future. DP 2.1 can handle 6K 120Hz (99 Gbps) with DSC, though.

Mac monitors are so niche it will be forever before any Thunderbolt 5 displays with 5/6k and 120HZ OLED will happen. Probably 2027-2028 at the earliest.

I don't Care about pitch black QD OLED has better vibrant colors. 250nits SDR QD OLED is looking brighter and more vibrant then 250nits SDR WOLED. Some people are saying you can Also increase the vibrant of WOLED but it's not the same as the QD OLED.

I really hope the glass free 3d is really good 3d, and not just a gimmick. Let's hope they aren't going to charge a lot of !money for it like they do the pled monitors. I'm still waiting for affordable oleds. The pled monitors can do 3d too with active shutter glasses likes the 3d vision from nvidiia. The 3d would be better if they used oled with the 3d glass free. Well see, the 3d needs to be really good to convince me of buying the 3d monitor just for 3d. There's already other solutions for 3d such as vr headsets, and thats gaming. Any info if the oleds are using newer panels and are brighter? And are they going to be expensive like lasdt years? Thanks for the info. We need brighter oleds for active 3d shutter glasses, 300 nits is enough.
