First I wanna say I would spend 5 times what I would on a driver or driver shaft on a putter because the putter is where the biggest impact can be made on my overall score. I recently purchased a Toulon Portland with the stroke lab shaft and my experience is that it helped me instantly out of the wrapper. I find it mostly has helped me with distance control and those 3 to 6 foot knee knockers for par.... or bogey lol. I have really enjoyed the shaft and have gained a lot of confidence and lowered my score by 3 strokes on average over 9 rounds. I would still be very interested in trying the stability shaft as well. Thanks guys for all your hard work. You keep me stocked up with the latest gear nerd tech info and I love you for it!

Hi guys awesome vid again. From the information I have found out on the Stroke Lab. The lighter weight of the shaft has been transferred into the head and shaft butt. So overall weight is about the same. Matt may have benefited in adding a little more weight into the heel of the Stroke Lab. I would suspect the Stoke Lab was a little more toe heavy than the other.

From someone who owned the stability and got rid of it...... Get the stroke lab. You'll never putt on a flat, pure, 10 ft. Green. Distance control is everything. The stroke lab is what I switched to and its truly a game changer, especially on short slippery putts and distance control. Remember that the dude "testing" has gamed that shaft in his putter for a while and only took 3 strokes with the stroke lab. Hardly an objective test to say the least.
@BuffaloNickel92 жыл бұрын
@@Philliprecio Exactly! @scotty_teee42265 жыл бұрын
Not everyone may suit the balance point of the strokelab, so it may not help everyone improve. It may make some people worse. The tech in the stability just takes the variance of the shaft out of the equation. You still need to be using a putters that suits you and then you can add the stability shaft to that

So is the take away for the average golfer we need more weight in the grip area to create a counter balance effect. I'd like to see this test then using the Stability Putter shaft and a "standard" shaft with the Evnroll Gravity grip and the Flat Cat Solution grip. Both offer significant weights (Gravity 80g, FC 100g) that sounds like would have a similar effect as the Stability shaft.

Matt Leader wherever you can do to make the ball roll the same one after another. Everyone is different. I was in your boat about a year ago. I was asking about lie angles, where to put it in my stance and pretty much everything I could think of. Putting was my weakness being a scratch. But I bought a little 9 foot putting green and I figured how to roll the ball the same every time or close to and didn’t care about how it looked or if it was “the right way”. And it’s night and day difference. Just get it rolling the same. You can have you eye over or just behind the line most of the time. But you should be looking at you ball the whole time Through your swing so being dominate isn’t that big of deal. It’s another thing ppl just say. My humble opinion. Best putter inside of ten feet is Fowler and he says he just looks at on spot and not at the hole. Aims, speed and then he doesn’t need to worry about anything else. So being dominate isn’t that big of deal. Hope I helped at all. Good luck buddy.
