If you sold kits for a lot of normal maintenance jobs, that would be nice. Like plugs, coils, coil clips, or pulley bearings and the serpentine belt. Customers would not have to figure out what to buy.

Have you guys had to replace/fix brake lines? The hard/steel ones, haven’t been able to find a video. The rear passenger hard/steel brake line on my 03 s2000 decided it was time to go, i know i should probably take it to a shop and get it replaced but want to see if it’s something i can do myself

Seen the soft top and wanted to see if you guys have ran into the issue where the corner seams above the rear window have overstretched, causing the adhesive in those corners to unglue the overlapping layers of the soft top. This has happened to the soft top on my s2000 and whenever it rains or if I wash my car, water leaks inside and has even caused mold to grow. On top of that it creates that humid/damp smell inside my car and I know that isn't healthy. If you happen to come across this in the future I would like to see a video on how to fix it, other than buying a new soft top because I don't have $1000 to spend. I would really appreciate it, thank you and really enjoy watching your videos, keep doing what your doing.

We only offer and install the OEM for this reason. It’s fits perfectly without over stretching the frame or loose that cause leaks etc. We’ve tried every top on the market and never being happy with the final job.

I'm curious to know, is the shop s2000 coming to the dragon in October? 😉

Maybe. Esther might be going this year, I’ll have to check with the boys.

Lucky for me, the CMS on my S2K self-flushes itself, so I just add new fluid every 3-4 months when the pedal starts to get low, and the fluid stays clean!
@LHTPerformance Жыл бұрын
Try and fix it before it fails. We had a custom limp his CMC as long as possible and ended up damaging his synchros.

Another great video. Question. Can you buy that little lower black rear bumper/stifferner/exhaust protector that is held on with the two push fasteners seperate from the rear bumper for a 2008 S2000? Thanks

John, what are your thoughts on the resonator tube on the s2000 exhaust? My k series integra has a lot of drone and I’m wondering if it’s worth it to add a tube similar to the ones on the s2000.

They definitely help, it only cover certain frequencies. There’s a lot of science getting it perfect. We just copied the size and position of the factory one.

Are you sure it is easy to replace those two bearings?
@LHTPerformance Жыл бұрын
If you’re mechanical it shouldn’t be hard. We did a complete how to video and get countless messages from people thanking us on an easy to follow process. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppjSn2Sae9WSoZI

Pretty easy, just make sure you get the recommended socket or whatever to sit it on. I had to rig something else and that was a pita
