This is a beneficial review material! Anyway, I have a question. Before, it was mentioned by Mr. Jay that we would state the name of the patient in the 1st sentence of each paragraph only followed by a pronoun in the succeeding sentences. In your videos, I noticed that the name of the patient was stated in all sentences. Can we use them either way?

Thank you! You mentioned not to mention the patient's age since it can be implied from the DOB but the official OET sample test 4 does this with the very first paragraph! This is confusing, please kindly clarify!

I think it depends on whether the age is easy or hard to calculate: in this case the year is even in the same tens. They usually say that if a calculation is needed then better be safe then sorry.

Hello sir. Sir in oet exam i had written a letter to home care manager. That manager was working in same community from where my patient belongs to. So I added patients mother and father's history of heart attack because my patient was admitted due to ischemic heart stroke. Rest all the relevant information I have written very well. And closing also I have done very well. I was expecting grade B but I got 290 marks. Atleast I need 300marks to pass. So immediately I have applied for remarking. Will my marks increase? Please suggest.

The case notes will stay with you throughout the writing test. However, in the 5 minutes reading time, you’re not allowed to use your pencil or mark anything on the base notes. Just reading is allowed.
