what a location! Very envious of scots being able to camp in most places without hassle.

had mine since last year use it for just me on my motorcycle its a great tent for one and bike gear and other bits so far its handled some pants weather in Cornwall high coastal winds and rain for nearly 2 days also giving it a run out in Lincolnshire in October for 2 nights good review and subbed mate

did your stuff stay dry in porch area during rain? .... with it not having a built in ground sheet there, I'm picturing water seeping in

Great video bro. Just bought one. My old Vango needed replacing so went for the OEX Coyote 3. Needed a good tent like this to cope with the weather on the West Wales coast. Bought it after your review.

Thanks for a great review set in amazing scenery. I just bought one to replace my two man tent as I just wanted more space. I will be using it on my own on motorcycle camping trips. I am looking forward to trying it out.

I have one of these tents myself and am very impressed with it .The large vestibule is a complete game changer for me.I usually take one of my smaller tents when solo camping but as i am getting a little older now ,i prefer comfort over weight .ATB. Enjoyable wee video.

Cheers. I just filmed it off the cuff and tried to give an everyday opinion of the things people might look for in a tent.
@graemesaunderson42182 жыл бұрын
@@SaltNPepperChips It was a great first attempt.The poles are made of aluminium and if you rub the edge of an unlit candle along the teeth of your zips , it will lubricate them and make them easier to open and close.It`s also good practice to hold the flap that covers the zip away from the zip with your other hand when operating it, it reduces the risk of snagging. Hi, bit of a odd question but are you able to put a small padlock on the zips of each entrance? So if a stranger try’s to unzip it will just follow the other zip and still stay closed

I've just bought one of these, used it for the first time last weekend in the lake district, well impressed, well cut shape, nice and tort when guyed out, no flap in a small wind, cracking quality for the price

Currently on sale in Go Outdoors for £119 which is a great price

And here I am in the U.S. trying to get it shipped to me for $270. Going back and forth on whether I should purchase it. Choices are: Coyote 3, Nordisk Oppland PU, Robens Voyager 2EX. Pretty well settled on the tunnel design, just need to pick one of the 3.
@alpine16092 жыл бұрын
@@MFRiley that's exactly the 3 choices I had wittled it down to, managed to get mine off ebay used for about £80 I think it was.
@MFRiley2 жыл бұрын
@@alpine1609 Seems like they are the best tunnel tents for the money (that have enough reviews to give enough piece of mind to purchase). Much better than the Naturehike Oppland for my uses. You are a damn lucky man for that, sometimes the stars align I guess. I'm looking at right around 200 pounds including shipping for a new one on Ebay, but it would take a month to get here. Out of the other 2, I would probably get the Roben's Voyager because they are so similar, yet I like the color of the Roben's a bit more, and it's $20 cheaper. If we were talking about the original Voyager design, I'd get that one without a second thought. It's a damn shame they downgraded the design, but it's still a solid choice. I would have already bought it, but the size of the Coyote 3 is what's making me second guess. It's just perfect, so much head space. You all on that side of the world have access to such great outdoor gear! Is the Coyote 3 worth it for $270 ya think? Or should I get the Roben's Voyager for $250?

Have you had any issues with the poles? I see in reviews a lot seem to struggle with them getting them into the loops and also a lot of snapping poles.

They can be difficult to get in but are quite sturdy. I don't think I've come close to snapping one

@@SaltNPepperChips btw it looks like a great tent but for now I’ll stick with my Phoxx II and 4x4 DD Tarp combo for hiding the bike and sit down shelter. But appreciate the response.
