Well its a wet Sunday morning and I'm sitting here doing 2 of my favorite things...drinking coffee and got the English woodsman on KZbin. Dan I've been watching your videos for a long time and you are one of my all time favorites because you talk a lot and you give honest opinions on equipment, not sugar coated. When you talk a lot I feel like I'm right there with ya and I laugh with ya. Please don't change how you make your videos. You are one of the most real ones of them all, and a genuine good guy and I love to hang out with ya. Dwayne Stewart

Another great video Dan, loving your channel, down to earth and honest.... Nothing wrong with being a rifle owner I was taught to shoot 303 out in Germany by my Dad when I was six years old and I'm now 54 still shooting, won a few competitions, an avid animal lover but can put food on the table if need be... Its lovely to hear the rain on the tent too just hate the puddles ...get Oscar Outdoors a folding camping mop...lol ATB Chris.

Love your channel!!!! Thought I would share my top cooking tips Use cous cous. You don't need to cook it. Just stick on hot water and a lid If you want a meal..cook at home and freeze in bags. That chicken could have been cooked n frozen. It then keeps cold in your rucksack but also will not take as much cooking time. In fact...any left over food through the week freeze in bags.... save a fortune !! Make smoothies into ice cube bags and freeze them nice and chilled while on hills and old fruit not wasted

Your first camping experience resonated with me. About 40 years ago as younger men my brother and I had the same ma idea. We took 2 plastic survival bags up on to the Ridgeway and nearly died of hyperthermia 😅. Dripping wet because of the bags and freezing cold . It never put me off, absolutely loved camping and about to embark on bike packing despite now being in my 60's. Stumbled on this vlog because you are using the tent I intend to use. Love the idea of some indoor space. And yes, I have subscribed 👍

I've cooked in my tent for years. With a gas burner giving off blue flames, as long as your tent has standard venting you'll be fine, no harm in opening the doors though I guess. Found a Banana Bread Beer by Eagle Breweries in Morrison's, I bought it as a gimmick but I actually really like it, might be worth a try? As for the meal I make a very similar one, except I pour the chicken and onions into the noodles (not the other way around). Then you get to enjoy a nice warm noodle soup with chicken etc. Anyway, enjoying the adventures, and how much you always seem happy being out and about.

A little tip for your dinner to make it work better, fry the chicken, onions etc as you did, boil your noodles without adding the flavour, when they are just done, drain the excess water then add your chicken and flavour, it will save making a mess trying to take the noodles out x
