A flat level surface is so valuable in the woods, it's looking great looking forward to the next steps thanks

Thanks! Got the middle joist in today. Now have to cut 28 floor joists and hang them. :-)

Yeah, the full footprint will be 12 x 20. 12 x 16 interior with a 12 x 4 porch. It's going to have a loft that overhangs the porch, too. I'm excited!

Thanks, brother! You definitely should! I can only get out there for a few hours a week, so mine is going so slowly.

Thanks, brother! I can only get out there for couple of hours each weekend, so the going has been slow. But I am excited!

You are off to a very good start for sure! Can't wait to see the progress. I have always wanted to build a cabin just never got around to it or never can find the time to.

@@BackyardCustoms My plan from the beginning was to get the foundation posts set, build the subfloor, and then have the local Amish come in and build the shell for me. I would then wire, insulate, and finish the inside. That is the current plan, just to speed things along. :-)

Its hard to film and build at the same time forsure. Figured it out the hard way working on Mavs little cabin these past few months. Mav filmed a bonus video showing some of the cabin but didnt want to show too much for privacy sake. The storage idea is great! Can never have enough places to put things especially when working with s smaller square footage. Thanks for the recommendation looking forward to see more progress! Much love ✌❤😃

So hard to film and build! And tiring. I'll have to check out your cabin videos. Maybe get some ideas. 😊

Hi Brad from Bushcraft Ridge :D That's very cool how you notched the 6x6 tops to fit the framing. It's really coming along well! Aaaaand I am caught up. Whew that took a while, over 5 hours :O
