@@natashabrauner8309 There is a rainforest in Canada, its just not a tropical rainforest, one area is called The Great Bear Rainforest. So while it is misleading, most people who are actually from the area don't say they "live in the rainforest", they just say they live in B.C. But these people enjoy misleading people so I get why you'd think that they meant a tropical rainforest.

Love the videos you guys are killing it out there and everything looks like so much work. Please consider this it’s not criticism but you gotta puts sides on that wood storage or all that beautiful construction is for nothing the wood will still get wet and you will struggle all winter with wet wood, also the tin roof channels are the wrong way for snow slide Jakes going to be up on a ladder pushing snow off that roof to keep it from collapsing. It’s beautiful there. I live in Ohio and we get quite a lot of snow too but we are not remote and don’t have your view. I moved here from TN and miss the country and mountains so bad. Your so blessed to be able to enjoy that view everyday. I know you both work so hard and have hand built every thing we get to watch on here. How inspirational. Very few people can say they have created a home in a remote area like you two have. Everything you do is manual from washing clothes to washing dishes and hand pumping water. You are both extremely hard workers. Thank you again for sharing your amazing life.

The winter is the perfect time to do it too since there's zero risk of starting a forest fire. In the spring it will be too rainy and in the summer they will be too busy gardening and doing other stuff. I said earlier they should keep that fire pit going 24/7 outside until the place is clear. It could be many years until that forest around them is responsibly managed.

For quick heating. LASKO ceramic element. Just plug it the 12 volt. It has different temperature settings. It will heat your place up super fast. Way faster than the fire. It is good to get going until the fire builds up heat. Since you have solar. This will be a great addition. It's easy to tuck away. I've had mine for 3 years and it's still going. Absolutely safe. Not a fire hazard.

you might think its a hard time in the snow , but it is really good for you in body and mind as you are vertually in a sterile enviroment now , as the cold kills off a multitude of bad things in nature and this makes you stronger as you will find out later in life my friends , lots of love to you both from England

Hope you answer the guys question about the roof panels. I've never seen them put up that way. You must have a reason for doing it that way, until now I thought you were somewhat of an expert and do things the right way?

He has a video explaining when he received the roof, the channels were on that side, how hard was to order them and ship it to the place, I’ll try to find the video... he said that he would keep it cool and not return it, also because of the cost

That's not snow. That's decoration. Count your blessings. Good on both of you. Come to Ontario during the winter if you really want to see snow. Lots of love to you both. Keep fighting the good fight. Cheers!

This video was on my google feed so I watched it. I LOVED it. Now I have to catch up and watch ALL of them. It's SO wonderful to see the two of you along with your furry friends living a life in nature. I love Yurts. I stayed in one last year. Thank you

This was awesome. I loved the new outfit, it looks like it fit well and made you smile, what could be better. The boys in the snow was fun, the kitteh decided, nope let me back inside. One thing i love about a nice snow like you had is the silence, even in town where i am, once we get a good 4"-6" of powder everything just goes quiet, yeah. Thank you for taking us along. Peace.
